WOW!!! We got lucky once again, the sn*w and rain broke apart before it got to us. We had a lot of clouds, breezy cold temps this morning, but now the sun is shining bright, so the Easter Egg Hunt will be outside afterall for the kiddies. Hazel and Lina are getting ready to head out the door in a few minutes to go watch the kids hunt for the eggs..........:goodvibes

Well we are at 15 so if I doubled that it is about what I am thinking.

We are thinking 1200 onboard, but don't expect to spend that much, but you never know. Then 800 for the 5 stops. I'm kind of hoping that with being on the 5 dayer after the Repo those things that we would like but don't have to have will be on clearance.
What I have done in the past is bring envelopes and put each days port money in it's own envelope. I've never brought a CC for ports and the only one we are bringing is AmEx, is that excepted at most places?
No bingo for us, well maybe one game, it's a bit expensive

I'm with Heather. I won't use a CC in a foreign city. My brother did that once and by the time he got home, half of Jamaica was using his CC number for purchases. It was a headache beyond belief. If they don't take my good old american money, they don't get the sale. :sad2:

I don't like to take much $$ on shore and I think AmEx is accepted. We also have a budget per day and find that more often than not we have a balance that rolls over to the next day. I agree with you about Bingo...the cost of cards has crept up.

hows this for an idea for those tired of the dcl pirates nite theme.
like wdw, have the princess and pirate party.
girls could dress like princesses(and wear their tiaras) and the guys be the pirates.pirate: (although if i know robin, she'd still be a pirate)

Hiya Dawg...how are you this afternoon?

It's sunny but very cold over here in GB.

Thought you'd suggest a Roger Rabbit party...with plenty of Jessica look a likey's?

I'm with Robin, I'd be a pirate. I just bought a pirate outfit so it would be nice to be able to wear it more than twice.

Hi all!

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter! :goodvibes

Jay and I are tied up for the rest of the day with a wedding and then we're having a brunch here at the house tomorrow ... :scared:

Also, if everyone could spare an extra good thought for the many, many people in this area being impacted by flooding it would be much appreciated. Jay and I are fortunate enough to live outside of the flood zone (we're about 18 miles from the Missouri River ... if we flood you'd all better find an ark) but we know many people who aren't as lucky. Those areas in South St. Louis County are some of my old stomping grounds and I have a lot of friends and some family who are anxiously waiting to see just how high the water is going to get.

The scary part is that this isn't even Spring flooding - we just had a storm that started Monday night and didn't stop unitl Wednesday and it did nothing but rain the entire time. We had six inches in our rain gauge after 24 hours. :scared1:

Anyway, thanks again for sending some good thoughts to the soggy armpit of the Midwest. Have a great day tomorrow and eat lots of chocolate! :goodvibes

Safe travels and pixie dust to all who need it.:wizard:

So I bought Enchanted at Wallyworld yesterday. Glad I did it's a cute movie! In fact just bought a couple of the sappy songs off of Itunes. Called Sean who is working OT today and played "Happy Little Working Song". Goober thought I was singing it to him....he's so sweet.
