Rose--when we got our Pontiac Vibe in June 2006 the ST came out to see the car, and she said, "That's an ugly car." Made mom and dad feel real good now didn't it........:rotfl2:

Nope, I told ya I'm still a Pepsi drinker!
I turned down the free case of Coke that came along with the car:thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Ya coulda sent it my way!

You really need to start drinking the Diet Coke, it is much better than that Kool Aid, I mean Pepsi, you're drinking. :rotfl2:

You know, I probably could get passed her shortly and if enough of us are on tonight, we could get this thing closed before she even wakes up. :scratchin

That's a very good possibility........:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

If your kid doesn't like the car, then you know you made the right decision. If they don't like it, they won't be seen in or driving it, so you don't have to worry about them borrowing it. :thumbsup2

However, I think the Vibe is very sporty looking. Plus, with it being built side by side with the Toyota Matrix, you know it will last forever.

We bought a Geo Prizm new, back in 1996. It still runs and has 202,000 miles on it. It was built side by side with the Toyota Corolla. We haven't driven it lately (been driving the other two vehicles), but with gas going to $3.59 today, we'll park the Bravada and start driving the Prizm. 30 mpg vs. 16 mpg.

I love the stations that will up it mid-day for no reason. The tanker hasn't even come yet.

They say costs went up. When oil drops you ask them when the price will go down, they say not for awhile because the higher priced gas is still in the pipeline.

Funny how that cheap gas can get out of the pipeline instantly when the costs go up.

I know, I rode by the station this morning and it was still $3.05, I was reading water meters, this afternoon near the station, and noticed the price had gone up to $3.08

We have a law here in NJ that the price can only be changed once a day.

I'll PM you.

Don't want to get into a Political discussion on the thread (although, that would take care of the next 8 pages).

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, OK...............;)

Yeah, we have a once a day law here too. I think I heard Illinois they can't raise until their tanks are refilled.

You're lucky you only got a $.03 increase. Ours was $.10, and in some places $.15.

We haven't gotten to the season of "Summer Blends" yet. That will put them up again.

My solution, and I don't understand why any of the politicians don't propose this, would be to make one level of reformulated gas for the entire country. Those areas that need to be on it will have that fuel. Use the strictest levels out there, probably California, and make that gas.

Better yet, just do away with un-refomulated gas all together and only have one type of fuel for the whole country. Economies of scale people.

Thank you for your support and remember to vote for me in the Fall.

Sorry Andy, but I really have to leave now. It's been 45 minutes since I said I was going to leave and it takes a minimum of 35 to get home.

Good thing I don't usually get home until 6:45/7:00.

I will be on later tonight, maybe around 8:00 my time (9:00 by you).

Gosh, I'm not that smart:rotfl:
I've only figured out Coke and Pepsi!

But Jeff, you sure seem right about the cars.
I never looked at it that way!:thumbsup2
Together we could right a book:)

$3.85 in CA this morning. The pain that I feel filling up my tank is starting to eclipse the pain from my last motorcycle accident. I may be riding again!
