I think I give myself too many "little treats", which add up as much as the big treats do. I am a sweets addict - I will admit it. I LOVE sweets, can't get enough. Which got me to where I am today....:rolleyes1

You and me both sister.........:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Karen, I am with you, been dieting forever-. I wanted to be in better shape at 50 than I was at 40. I am but have not lost as much as I would like. It just gets old thinking about everything you but in your mouth.

Is there not a prettier spot!!! This is where we sat for lunch!!!

Attention Please..........just received this news a few minutes ago.....:goodvibes :goodvibes

Congratulations, Disney has waived their right of refusal on your resale contract!
:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

You should be receiving your closing paperwork from the title company via email as soon as they receive the seller’s account information from DVC, complete the title search and create the final documents. (This sometimes can take up to 3 weeks, but less if DVC accounting is prompt) If you need to make arrangements to move any funds for the final payment now is a good time to take care of it, as the final payment must to be “certified” funds such as bank, cashiers check or wiring. The final “exact” figure will be included in those documents.

CONGRATS ANDY!!!!! :cool1:

If I'm not a DVC member, can I still say "welcome home"? :confused3

You must be thrilled. So, planning a trip for this September?

I've been trying to convince Suz into looking at DVC, but she just ignores me when I bring it up. She would rather spend $20-$30 more per night for the Moderate rooms we stay in. :sad2:

I was just thinking of something to appeal to the husband who are reluctant to go on a DCL cruise because it isn't fun enough for them.

BTW, I'm not one of them. You read about people like that on the main DCL thread, "how do I convince my husband.....".

No kidding Jeff?

Once we get through closing in about three weeks or so, we will be looking into possibily booking a Studio room at HHI for a four night stay in early September, as long as they have rooms available.

This is me when I read the e-mail.......... :yay:  :yay:

This is Hazel when I told her the news.........:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

The ST is :faint: taking a nap..........:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Thanks for the encouragement Karen - it helps. I've been dieting since I was a teenager too...my thyroid has been a problem since I was 12, which doesn't help!

I know I don't get enough exercise, and that's part of the problem. I'm hoping now that the weather is getting nicer, I can get to the gym more. It sounds crazy, but in the winter, once I get home I'm cold and I don't want to do anything but cuddle under a blanket and hibernate. I don't want to go anywhere, including the gym.

I hear ya there Jen! Me too! Cuddly blanket, my cats and ferret and a good show on tv..... I can hang there for awhile!

Just go wake her up and tell her you can answer her question of when you're going now.

BTW, how long of a drive for you to HH? That's less than a full day trip for you, right?

"You, on a Diet" by Dr. Oz. It tells you about the science of losing weight and being healthy. There is an exercise plan in there as well. It is not a fad diet at all, more like a lifestyle change.

It sounds to me like you have the same problem millions of us have--we don't exercise enough. The older I get, losing weight is falling to #2 on my problem list. #1 is starting to become a bit of a depression. It's not that I am sad all of the time, I am not. It is more that I have no desire to do anything sometimes, e.g. I have laundry (clean at least) piled on my chair in the living room and dishes piled in the kitchen sink right now......and it's not because of DISsing. I've barely felt like doing that either. When I get like this, I know to make myself get some exercise.......

Me too, Paige, I don't really get sad (although I have had some major episodes of depression years ago) but I just don't really feel like doing much.... well chores anyway:rotfl: I just have slowed down so much in the last 5 years or so. Is that older age? Peri-menopause? Too little exercise!

Help us Dr. Oz!

I love him!

Andy, off-hand, do you know the going rate to rent points from someone? Suz had someone at work who was offered a week at OKW for $1,000 over Halloween. It is only 82 points at that time, so over $12 per point.

I thought it was more in the neighborhood of 10 I told Suz.

The funny thing is it is the guys in-laws offering it to him at such a great price. Sounds like something my in-laws would do. :sad2:

I know when I've been researching to buy a DVC, the price comes up around $7.50 a point when I take the cost of the contract, add the closing cost, divide by the number of years left and the number of points and then add the current year's maintenance. I figure the extra $2.50 that people are getting is to get something out of the deal. But come on, one of the people going is the owners daughter.

I'm guessing about 14 hours, but I really need to look up what the actual mileage is. It all depends on Hazel's leg problems if I try to do it all in one day. Might break it up to make the drive more ENJOYABLE for ME!!! ;) ;) ;)

Well kids, I'm going to sign off and head home. Talk to y'all later.

Almost 10 pages today. Getting somewhat back to normal I see. :thumbsup2

You've seen National Lampoon's "Vacation"? Didn't they put the person on the roof?

nough said. :lmao:

Hey, what the heck, one more post and we're in the final 10 pages of this thread.
