Now you really are rubbing it in.;)

I tried to find a low fat alternative on the menu, but I can't. Maybe the chicken noodle soup.

Don't think you can do low fat with butter and cheese on bread.

Although, they grill them to profection.

One co-worker had bacon and onions on hers. After having the pepperoni today, I'm so trying the bacon next time.

They also do salami. I'm thinking of that one too.

Afternoon Jen - and to answer your question - all the time. I've been at target weight for about 3 years now and I feel at times that I agonise over what I eat all the time. I sometimes wonder if I would be better off, eating what I wanted, when I wanted, but then I look back at pictures and I realise that it's the bext thing I've done and I feel better for loosing the weight.

I agree. It is hard to watch what you eat these days. I do good all week but on the weekend I eat what I want and I pay for it. I feel like I should be able to eat more but when I do I gain. I feel much better since I have lost my weight too. Diane

I'm having such a hard time right now, and I don't know what to do anymore. I did WW very successfully (lost 65 pounds) and hit goal briefly the summer before the cruise (KK1). Then I gained 5 pounds right back...couldn't keep 'em off. I decided not to worry about it until after the cruise. Fast forward to today, when I weighed in at 40 pounds above goal. I'm so mad at myself - all that work for nothing.

Anyway, this rambling and self-pity does have another point - that maybe WW isn't the plan for me to lose the weight. I keep thinking about the theory that "denying your cravings" only leads to overindulging them later, but maybe eliminating sweets is what I need to do. It's my biggest downfall...

So, I'm trying to figure out what my game plan will be if it isn't WW...and I haven't a clue! I don't want to do a "fad" diet, so what's left? How do other people lose weight or figure out how to eat healthy?

Hmmm....maybe I should post my ramblings on the WISH board instead...but you're my buddies...so you get to hear it all first! :lmao:

I know you meant onboard, but if they dont do that then a mini golf on CC would be fun too. More "familyish" than a nine holer.

I was just thinking of something to appeal to the husband who are reluctant to go on a DCL cruise because it isn't fun enough for them.

BTW, I'm not one of them. You read about people like that on the main DCL thread, "how do I convince my husband.....".

I'd fly in on the Thursday right before the cruise to give you an extra day in case something happens. If you don't need it, then you have the time to adjust to our time zone.

I thought they gave the kids 2 weeks in October? :confused3

If you choose to come in a week before the cruise, I would wait until Sunday to head back. Come play with the rest of us at MNSSHP on Halloween. :cool1:

Nope - just a week in Oct..there probably will be a teacher training day tagged onto the holiday but I wont know until much nearer the time so thats no use to me.

Flying in on the thurs would be 7 days off in total:rolleyes: - can see the school moaning:rolleyes1

If we wait til the Sunday that means we dont land til Monday morning - he should be back in school bythen:rolleyes1

Flying home on the sat means we land Sunday and have Sunday afternoon to get a little adjusted to the time zone thing.

Do you think the crowds in the parks the week before haloween or after would be less?

They all sound heavenly:cloud9: - I sooooo miss cheese when I'm dieting:sad1:

I could list the stuff they have if your interested. I might have a link to their website though as well.

Let me know.

Pretty simple menu, but man can you jazz those things up.

I still havent told the school about the xmas holiday yet:rolleyes1

I asked school about the 3 days we'll miss for the repo over a year ago. Guess I should remind them before the last day of school.

Since they do home visits before the school year, I'll have to let the teacher know since we'll be gone when they do them.

I guess he didn't hear me muttering.....
:lmao: :rotfl:

Everyone mutters that all the time when I'm on here. Just for different reasons.

Guess I'll take the hint and go do work then.

just kidding - as you all are saying, "we're not"

Jen, I know what you mean - I was waaaaaaaaaay thinner than now when I got to goal on WW - I too have put 28lb back on in 2 years since I got to goal.:sad2: - I'm so mad at myself - I looked and felt great at that weight, so why did I sabotage it:confused3 . I went on hol to Greece and put on about 8 lb, then within a few weeks of returning we went to Florida and I put on another 8lb (all cheesecake:rolleyes1 ), so I gave up and now I'm a fat c*w who's angry at herself for being so stupid:sad2:

Who cares what husbands think:confused3 :lmao:

I don't know, the last time I came down to the parks late in October there was just a lot of crazy people from England there.

I'd say either would be fine. I don't think you'll get the influx of Americans on either week.

Hey, does anyone want to sit with me on the BOB? My old tablemate is no longer my friend.

just kidding - as you all are saying, "we're not"

You know we all love you Jeff! ;)

Hey, Karen, you can sit with me, and Jeff can sit w/ my in-laws! :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

No, Jeff, you get no respect from us... :lmao:

Hey, I just noticed we're shutting down in 200 posts (about 12 pages).

Guess I better get thread #5 ready to go (unless someone else wants it).

I think I called Wednesday when Becky asked late last week. Looks like I might be right.

You're not stupid....you're human...just like the rest of us!

I'm almost to the point of not knowing where to start, and what's healthy and what's not healthy....know what I mean???

I know vegetables=good, and sugar=bad....everything else is in the grey area....

Hey! - dont you be giving my seat away Mister - you dont get rid of us that easily:rotfl2:

Why do I have the feeling the arrange would be more like Neil and I to fend for ourselves with the kids while you and Suz were on a different rotation or in Palo every night (or the bar).

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: cheeky s*d!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

DO you think MNSSHP would interfere to much if we did the week before the cruise? 18-23?

Definitely not. I think it will be rather dead. MNSSHP starts Sept 7th this year (which is really early). I think if you go one of the weekday nights while you're down there, it will be "walk-on" for all the rides.

I'm the opposite - I know all the info I just ignore it:rolleyes1

I've been dieting since I was 16 (it seems like centuries), been on every type of diet (except slimming world - cant figure out those red and green days) - I just dont stick to anything.

Been real good this week though and good last week too so hopefully I'll shift a couple of pounds this week.

Do you get the chance to exercise? I know its hard working and with Thomas, but maybe its not your food? Could it be that your job is a sit down job and you dont get the chacne to be active enough? Would a pedometer encourage you to move more? My bettery has gone in mine, but it sure did motivate me when I looked at how little I'd walked by lunchtime, so I'd get up and do something about it.

I'm here to help you Jen - we'll struggle together:hug:
