Hi everyone. I haven't read back too far. Just let me know if I've missed anything. We had a very hectic day yesterday. I took Alex in for an x-ray because the day before he fell off of his rip-stick and hurt his shoulder.....

....broken collar bone. UGH!

Poor little guy is heartbroken that he is out of football for the rest of the season.

Luckily, it's not a bad break and should heal quickly and totally.

I am so ready for a cruise.

Poor thing, we had one of those once also, Patrick had a hard time sleeping!! He fell off his bike after mom said - don't ride on the grass!!! He did anyway and down he went.

Oh no!!!!! Poor Alex!!! Here's some hugs and pixie dust to make him heal fast!!! Not that I'm glad he got hurt, but much better it happened NOW and not while you and Rob are on the boat... wouldn't want to get THAT phone call!!

So excited!!! Becca is telling every person she meets that she's so excited for her birthday and it's a special birthday because she's going on a cruise..yada-yada-yada.

One of the local elemetary schools here has the FLU running rampant through it - and my DH joked that our kids were going to get the "flu" starting on October 23rd. I told him that our kids have already told everyone and their BROTHER about this cruise and they'd come back from their "flu" with quite the tan!

I'm so excited.... I just ordered a gift basket for Abby to be delivered to the cabin (got the one from Shirley at ThePerfectgift.cc). My MOM ordered one for Becca and that will be her birthday present from Mamaw and Papaw....

The girls will be so excited (and so will I!!)

Still would love some advice about our excursion!!!!!! ANYONE???????

We are signed up for a few excursions---but the one we really want has only allowed us to book my husband---should we just cancel all of them--and hope to get the one we want on board?????? That way we aren't charged--and if we can't get that one--just pick when we get onboard????

And we would like to snorkel at either St. Marteen or Castaway Cay---maybe St. Johns if the family cant get the excursion we really want----I have never snorkeled before---but would love to try it---want to see the sea turtles---anyone have any suggestions for someone whos a first timer---and not fond of deep water?????????????????????

For St. Maarten, we are doing the Butterfly farm. Doing that one because it takes us over to the other side of the island and allows us shop too.

For St. Thomas/John, we are doing the Trunk Bay Beach excursion. It is supposedly one of the best beaches in the world and we want to see it. Plus, it has snorkeling and never done that either.

For CC - we are going Parasailing and then renting some snorkelling equipment for the day... not much else!

Have you posted on the main cruise board also? You might get some good answers there. Also on the FAQ thread there are some excursion reviews....

We thought about the butterfly farm---but really wanted to do something w/ the 4 of us that has to do with the water---Coral World Marine Park by Land/Sea is the one we really want by thats the one that only my husband is signed up for-St. Thomas--hoping to get all of us on when we board---
Castaway Cay--we figured we would let the kids go play and dh and I could enjoy the day together doing something---
So if we don't do snorkeling there--cause there are no sea turtles to see there---we are trying to dec. which one to pick at the other island--
We are looking at Trunk Bay also--------------but I guess it all depends on the Coral World one -----guess I will just cancel what I have and wait until we get on the ship-------ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh just wanted everything in order
