I am feeling much better, I am ready to go on the cruise. I have been packed for a couple of weeks. Tommy needs to finish his packing. He has not realized he will be the luggage man for this trip or he will talk Jose into it. :rotfl2::lmao:

HI Leisha

Talked to Joanne just a short time ago and she is so ready. waiting for one of those conf calls she loves:rotfl::rotfl:. We are also ready Nancy has all her cloths ready in the spare bedroom and all I have to do is pick out what lite colored T- shirts I will be bringing.

Dan

Ok one more thing----------can ya tell my mind is whirling :rotfl2::rotfl2:
Is everyone making t-shirts???? Im not so sure I can get this accomplished this quick--along w/ everything else----maybe I could attempt making us some buttons----but Im sure you all will know me :lmao: I'll be the one thats just beaming w/ excitement-----remember "Im toooo exciteddddddddddd to sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

T-shirts aren't too hard (well, I didn't think so) but a lot of people are making buttons too, I think.

Either way, it's a fun way to spot fellow BOBers at the port!

Just wanted to post a picture of my new friend, BoB....

Bob.jpg

We are waiting for his friends Plankton and Mr. Krabs to arrive so they can all enjoy their cruise together....

:rotfl::love:

He's so cute!:cutie: - Hmmmmm, makes me think I need a Bob so my Planky has a buddy:yay:... I might try to find me a Bob in DTD.:yay:

Just finished watching Pirates of the Caribbean 2 with Ellis. He's never sat through the whole film before - he's jsut seen bits and clips but he loved it. We'll watch the 3rd one this weekend.

I must admit though,... when the flying dutchman was on screen all I kept thinking was ..."my photos of that were rubbish":lmao:

Even the bonus dvd was interesting - went into detail of the costumes, animation etc.... its made me even more excited (if that is even possible?!:rolleyes1)

Hey Angie - are you arriving the day of the cruise, or the day before? If you get there the day before, you can go to the local WalMart & purchase some really neat snorkeling sets they have; we did that last year & are going to bring them again this year.

Ooooh - thanks for the tip, Chaz!! We are actually leaving our house on Thursday night, driving a couple hours and then the rest of the way on Friday. Will have PLENTY of time to visit Wally World. I wanted to get our own equipment, but didn't want to pay Dick's Sporting Goods prices and Walmart's equipment is all gone now....

Thanks for the idea!

For any of you first time Disney Cruisers like us---traveling w/ smaller children---there is a postcard pay-it-forward thread---
Hannah & Rachel just got a cruise ship postcard in the mail today from Mickey Mouse----It read --Dear Princesses Rachel & Hannah,
We just heard the news! Belle & Snow White are so excited !!! we can't wait to meet you on the Magic real soon! Your friends, Mickey & Minnie & all the gang!!!!
It was awesome---their eyes just lit up---------I think its starting to become a little more real to them-------:banana::banana:

How AWESOME!!! I saw that thread and didn't think to post on it. I will have to make sure to get a couple of names and send some out while we are there!!

Wendi - you will be the little kid jumping up and down and up and down squealing.... wait... I just described MYSELF!! :rotfl2::lmao:

Not everyone is making t-shirts - some people are just doing buttons, some people aren't doing anything! Just enjoy being on the cruise - you are still a "BoBer" even if you don't have a sign on you!!

Yes, it is a bit pricey for that length of time, but since you've never been to Trunk Bay before, I definitely recommend going at least once -it truly is a gorgeous place. I was sad to leave! I have some pics I'll put up. :)

Thanks for the advice, Angela. We are going to STICK to our excursions. I will not second guess myself! I really want to go see St. John - especially since there are 2 other cruise ships in port on the day we dock at St. Thomas :scared1:

Can't wait!!!!!

Here they are:rolleyes:

Pretty darned rubbish

I got my BoB at Best Buy (an Electronics store here in the US). He was with the DVDs - since the movie just came out this week. He's kind of short - only 4 1/2 inches high... but he'll make GREAT friends with all the other Plankys and his buddy Mr. Krabs (they should arrive next week via post!)

Me likey the pictures, Karen!!! Yippeeeeeeeeee!!!

Thanks, but I dont like 'em. I'll be taking waaaaaaaaaay more this time in the hope for a couple of good shots. I've also asked permission to "borrow:rolleyes1" Chris's shots too;) With that super super new camera he's bound to get loads of sharp images.

My poor zoom just couldnt cope. I had maxed out the optical zoom, then went onto digital zoom... not good:sad2:

If I win the lottery in the next week I'll get my new camera, otherwise I'll be stealing other peoples photos!:rolleyes1

I should be able to pick him up while I'm over there. I gotta have a Bob on the Bob cruise:yay:

When we stayed with my friend in Capistrano Beach we took her to see Pirates 3. She hadn't seen 1 or 2 before. Now she is such a geek on Pirates, she seen the movies loads of times and seen all the bonus DVD's.

Does anyone know how close you can get to the flying dutchman on a pedalo?:confused3 I'd be willing to pedal my lil ole legs off to get some good shots!

We're watching number 3 this weekend. Ellis has got really into them. He even dug out his action figures of Capt Jack and Davy Jones:goodvibes

I must admit, I dont think much of Johnny Depp, but ME LIKEY Capt Jack very much:lovestruc

Now, what did I do with my ones.
