My dr. actually recommended it, he doesn't normally recommend fad diets, but he's a believer in WW.

Yep, because it isn't a fad. There are no pills, delivered meals, carb limits, etc. It is all about becoming educated on how to choose your own food and count fat and fiber. And of course exercise. It is what every good Dr. recommends; less food, healthy food and more exercise.

Good morning-afternoon everyone.

I actually able to post at work because of a no show appointment. Should have my documents at home when I get there.

So who caught Amazing Race last night? My favorite teams are the best friends (the 'duck whisperer') and the Globe Trotters.

I am going to San Francisco this weekend for a friend's birthday. We will be on the Gold and Gold fleet having dinner under the Golden Gate bridge and around the bay- a nice preview for our upcoming vacation me thinks.

Looks like the weather is turning from really hot to 70ish this week and slight chance of rain even. Very cool. We need it.

Gina - LOVED the Amazing Race last night - those are my 2 favorite teams as well. The Globetrotter guys seems to be having a great time and are very entertaining! Love Zev and Justin - really interested in seeing how successful someone with Aspergers can be (oldest DD has mild form of it).

Have fun in San Fran!!!

pirate: Just got time to get one more scar before we leave ! pirate::cool2:
I got one on my thigh, I'd be happy to show Big Red.

Chris it's a real small Backpack one we can use as what the airlines call personal items besides your regular carryon Tell your Mom to pick one up in the outlet store as you can see Chris it's a lot cheaper. The size we got is 11 inches wide and 12 inches tall
I may want one a little bigger. I want to be able to put our travel docs, passports and my camera in mine.

Seems like I've had a WW faux pas and called it a 'fad' diet, huh? :headache: I apologize to all who were offended. :flower3: I do appreciate all the info you guys are sharing.

You didn't offend Queenie, quite the opposite. By starting on WW you will recognise 'fad' diets.

No offence taken Queenie - we just mean its something you have to commit to long term as aposed to a short fix type diet.:thumbsup2

Sensible eating of filling but low calories foods in the majority. Totally easy to say... not so easy to do:rolleyes1

You've not offended me:goodvibes
