Won't be available it a Mod gets a PM before then that the new thread is open and to close this one. :rolleyes1 :lmao: j/k

But based on the timing of it, I probably won't be around to block it.

You gonna get the new thread up and running then?

Gee, I can take the hint. Everyone is leaving or just drive by posting.

Guess the fat guy will leave as well - oh wait, AFEG isn't on right now. :rotfl2:

I don't have time to maintain the first post right now. You guys will probably need it in the next couple days and I'm swamped for at least another week.

Drive by post here as well!

Hiya everyone!

Getting excited... get to book my shore excursions on Sunday night! Woo hoo!!

You'll have to let us know what you got. Last time I looked there were Palo Dinner available.

Perhaps Chris will do it. This time with links:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

I haven't checked in over a week, but I thought there were a lot of excursions available too.

I'm wondering if people are booking less stuff and just using the money to get on the cruise given the economy. :confused3

Morning all. Just checking in.

Is it October 24th yet?

I so need a vacation somewhere right now.

Me too and a new job, the IT issue are killing me. Still have not finished month end, waiting on IT support to call!!

Hello, all,

Thanks to some personal issues, I have been away from this thread for a while. Due to the fact that a couple of truly serious situations have occurred we are opting to re-schedule this cruise for 2010 instead of 2009.

The most schedule-chaos causing event may be the unpredictable but seemingly constant schedule changing of my DD, currently active duty/deployed with the USN (I take her young son when she deploys for any extended periods of time), the most serious issue(s) may be financial (unemployed and in a financial bind thanks in large part to the death of our DD) but the scariest is my DDIL was recently diagnosed with melanoma. She was diagnosed just a year and a week after the death of our DD (technically my step-, mentioned above) from this deadly disease, which certainly elevates the "scare factor" for us - as if the disease is not scary enough on its' own.

I am sorry for the late notice as I was slated to play the game as well. If it creates a problem of any sort, I would be happy to send on my trinkets to someone willing to deliver them.

I am also sorry that I will miss the experience of cruising with a group of lively, wonderful people I have come to "know" on these threads. I hope if the BOBers decide to cruise again the same time next year, you will consider adding me to the list of interested cruisers. I hope someone will continue to send me "breadcrumbs" so I can find the current thread so I can continue to visit when possible. I look forward to your trip reports and lovely pictures, and also hope you know I will be there "in spirit".

Thanks to everyone for the all the welcomes since I arrived, and a special thanks to those that reached out just that little bit further and sent me pm updates as I drifted from these threads.

Safe voyages to you~

Laurie

Steve - you write a movie critique like a real conniseur! Good job!! :happytv:

Yay - We just got tickets for the 10/31 MNSSHP - my girls are super excited. This will be our first time going...

I was thinking the same thing!!! At the rate we are going, we won't have to leave her breadcrumbs to the next thread... we'll still be on this old one!!

Good luck at the Chevy dealer - hope you just need a couple things!!

Angie, you didn't praise my detailed description on "strange".:rotfl2::rotfl2: Isn't that professional?:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Laurie~ Your family is in my prayers.:grouphug:
Don't worry about DisTag. That's easily rectified.
The "friend of bob" list is getting too long, especially when the reason is illness and military service. Please remember to take care of yourself while you are taking care of everyone else.....Much love to you.

We are not doing Palo dinner- don't want to spend that much for a meal, will do brunch but are skipping dinner this time. We are not foo foo eaters so the dining room is good for us, plus we like the conversations with our table mates.

Our thought and prayers are with you and your family, you will be missed!!
AS Paige said take care of yourself.

Good morning everyone. I had a nightmare about forgetting my passport last night. My father was taking us to the airport and I had also forgotten to pack my medication. He refused to turn around and told me I could pick up a passport 'at the market'

Huh??
