I have a feeling that Mike will get along FABULOUSLY with Dave (my DH). Sounds exactly like him!!! And he also has a big scar (where his kidney was removed when he was 16....) Guys with scars... I DIG them!!

What are you booking Sheri?

We're going to try to get Palo for brunch and dinner. We've never tried dinner before. We'll also try to reserve the Doubloon excursion in St. Thomas. We went on that excursion on our last cruise and just loved it! My DH, Pat, really enjoyed their pain killers and needed a 'quick nap'. He slept through dinner and the excursion ended at noon! We may try a beach afterwards, if we can!

With that - I better head off to bed. Dave is planning on doing laminate flooring in the bedroom while the girls are gone (so we can put all our junk in their rooms while he gets that done).

Must be why Dave was cursed, I mean BLESSED with 2 daughters. (Actually - I think it was payback for his mom who birthed 3 boys and now is blessed with 3 granddaughters to spoil (my niece is the other one)

Seriously though, I'm done for the night.

Last weekend, I had the time of my life. This weekend, not so much. We're having a good-bye picnic for the newlyweds tomorrow. It'll be a sad sad day.

The temps here in London have dropped this week. Really cool and quite a bit of rain. Nothing like the week before 4th.

It even cooled here a bit from 105's down to high 80's. Had to even used the heater in the truck this morning. Heather... I'm secretly hoping for a warmer winter for you this New Years as I don't want to pack too Heavy!

I am sorry to say that we are going to be unable to go on the 10/24/09 cruise due to continued unemployment. I have been looking since the middle of January and am still looking. Hope everybody has a great time!!

REAS package....

Lucky Duck! but I still haven't nailed down our plans so I can whine too much. I was going to talk to Laura tonight.

Oooohhhh!! I almost forgot!! I was going to buy a Fish Extender for DISTag from the woman on Ebay, but I decided I was going to make ours after all. We were at Wal-Mart tonight and I got the fabric for it. I have NO idea how it will turn out, but hopefully it will be ok. If not - hey - it was made with love (and it will look that way!)

When I finish it, I will post a picture! Of course, by the time I buy all the materials, it probably would have been cheaper for me to buy the one!

That Reminds me. I need to procure one of those. Laura was talking about making it but I'm thinking she'll be too busy!

It hit 90 here in WA today. It cracks me up walking around and you would think people would melt right there in front of you. Inlaws have the air on, heck at this point I would have all the windows open. We are camping next week at Collins Lake in CA supposed to be 96 the days we are going to be there. I am actually looking forward to getting back to the heat.

I am looking back at emails from Dreams Unlimited and Sue Ellen gave me a date of July 26th. I guess it switched to the 90 day window instead of 105 days. That really sucks. I hade my heart set.....

I absolutely hate to feel cheated. Apparently they have cut back. We will still enjoy this package but I thought part of package included getting to book early. It surely costs enough.....

We have the REAS and I was able to get reservations for 2 of us, but I had to log out and then log back into the DCL website in order for the website to accept (I had been logged in for quite some time).

The website said I should be able to reserve things for all the guest in our reservations or linked to our reservations, but I was only able to book for the 2 of us listed in the cabin with the REAS package (we have a cabin across the hall booked with 1 son/ and DH).
