I'm busy in the kitchen today making Bob a nice Father's Day dinner and desserts too. Since his daughter is in Germany and hasn't been over here in awhile.
She did call today for him, she actually rang my phone..... it was a huge phone number and I didn't recognize it until Bob called from work today and I mentioned it and he said that was Shawna's numbber:headache: Woops, I didn't know, didn't know she even had it.

Anyway hopefully she'll call back later for him.
He forgot to tell her......

Oh, I forgot to tell you all too!.....

Bob finally got on daytime hours!:woohoo: He started yesterday!:yay:
(or did I already tell you and I forgot because my brain has issues?:rolleyes1)

Anyways, hope you all have a great Sunday!

How was the father's day dinner?? Yummy I a sure.

Yay on the daytime hours!! That will be so nice!:cool1:

did you really swipe my googley? :(

I'm Sorry :rolleyes1 REally - I just logged on tonight and saw that the posts were at 1099.... really didn't MEAN to take it...:confused3. I'll leave it alone for now.

Don't beleive I've met you - I'm Angie - new Bober - wasn't on the last cruise. THis is our first cruise (ever) - after 15 years of irritating DH to go on one - he FINALLY relented!! LOL (Happy wife = happy life!!):lmao:

Hi! I am trying to catch up on the thread. :surfweb: I am not sure about 6:30 but I will try. :thumbsup2 Spent most of yesterday in Nashville. Megan was there for a work thing and started having pains. They did some tests and think she may have croans. My brother has it. She will need to go to a colon specialist this week for tests. She is much better this morning. We got home this morning about 5:00 am. She is not happy that they have he on a very bland diet. No hot wings :scared1: Her favorite.

Hugs to Megan!! :grouphug: I've heard Crohn's is not fun. I hope they find that it's not that. Saying a prayer for her.

I'm sorry that Megan may have Croan's. I know several people who have it and manage it fairly well but I slso know it can be a bother.....As for walking, 6:30 is a little early for me too. Maybe we'll have to make up a second shift. I might be awake at that time but the body isn't ready for exercise!! Remember I'm much older than you guys!

N

Nancy - I may join you on the second shift. I'm still relatively young (in my mind anyways) but 6:30 is too early for me (I really love my sleep!!):lovestruc

I killed the thread tonight. Everyone must be tired from all the fun Father's Days activities. Good night everyone!

Good luck, I hope you are a big loser;) :rotfl2:

I think I am putting my diet on hold for a bit then starting back up when I get back from Wisconsin :rolleyes1[/QUOTE]

Good idea--we do love to eat! That is how I got in the situation :lmao:. Thanks for the encouragement. I need all I can get :)

Yay Lisa! You can do it!! Competition and support always tends to help with weight loss. DH and best friend and me are all doing WW (best friend has cruise beginning of October).

You can do it!!!:banana::yay::cheer2:

Good luck & thanks for the encouragement ;)

Yes, we made it to T-Rex. It was lots of fun! The whole trip was great but the crowds got increasingly worse as the week went by. It seems everyone knows all the "tricks" to park planning. This may be the last summer time trip for us.....

Oh and it was hot. Florida hot. 100 degrees. We took breaks and drank water, and we grew up in Louisiana heat, so it was manageable.

We went to T-Rex too and enjoyed it. I leave for Florida on July 1st and am not looking forward to 100 degrees. I like warm weather, but not when we visit the parks. It makes for some cranky soliders :headache:.

I just can't seem to keep up with this thread. :( But I really want to keep up with what everyone is looking at for meet ups, excursions, etc. now that we are getting closer to being able to book. Is there any chance we could start another thread that is just for that stuff? And keep this one for where we can post all of our general fun stuff and getting-to-know you stuff? Or am I the only one who is too slow to keep up with all of the posts? LOL!

That is exactly the reason why I designed the BOB site. Anything cruise related is posted there that way everyone can go to that site for information, updates and help in planning their cruise, no matter how busy this thread is. A lot of us have been chatting on this thread for well over a year so talking about the cruise ONLY is not really realistic and the DIS only allows one thread per cruise.

As we get nearer to the cruise date, this thread will be mostly filled with cruise chatter, so make sure to come back. In the meantime, please post away and let us get to know you better as you get to know us :thumbsup2 It sure makes the DIS meets much more fun when you know a little about the people you are meeting. :goodvibes

You can find the BOB site by clicking on the logo down below in my signature ;)

you lucky duck. (or goose) Cass is coming to visit you.:cutie: she'd never come to ohio.:lmao:

That's not true :snooty: I still need to make it to Cedar Point before I am too old to want to do the coasters ;)

hope you like lasagna. seems thats all pp goose can cook.:rotfl:

I love lasagna ;)

Hi Leisha, sorry to hear about Megan  I have some history dealing with Chrohn's/Colitis so I know how terrible it can be. Here's some pixiedust: for her!

Reader's Digest version, anyone?

No need to catch up, nothing major has happened except maybe a few BOBer's flights were changed/cancelled. :sad2:

Good...morning, everyone (it's 2:32am here...insomnia kicking in again)...hope everyone had a nice Father's Day!

We didn't do much today, which was exactly the way DH liked it (he even got to take a nap!). I felt like such a heel of a wife today because it's been nutty here with so many things going on and I didn't get to plan a nice dinner (not that I'm a great cook) - and DH was not looking forward to dealing with crowds at the restaurants and it was getting too late for me to cook, so guess what we had for dinner...we did the McDonald's drive thru, and ate it home! UGH...:sad2:, I felt so terrible but he insisted...we don't usually eat that stuff so I caved...tomorrow, I am cooking a nice belated Father's Day dinner for DH. :guilty:

That's my vent for tonight...I hope everyone else had a nice Father's Day and no McDonalds involved...:rolleyes1

Have a great Monday everyone!!!

I think I'm supposed to write F.O.

Have a great day/night everyone! :goodvibes

Make sure you take a big a big empty bag for stashing Jeff's leaves in:lmao:

Hey does anyone know if it works for any of the games? Sean and I just got Clone Wars Lightsaber duels, that would be fun. We are however looking to get Mario Cart as well, maybe on the way home from Oregon where the isn't a sales tax.:cool1:

The games that can be linked have a wifi syumbol on the cover - small blue circle with wifi in the centre.:thumbsup2

Hi Sunshine girl. Dont worry about keeping up. Post one tells you all the important info and as Cass (TIMON) already mentioned her site is fab for all sorts of info. Just post whenever you can and join in the madness:goodvibes It really does fget addictive, especially as we all get to know more about each other. We have several newish families on here, so please dont feel like the only newbie:hug:

Swipe a googley? :-)

:woohoo::thumbsup2

Heck, I wont be walking, I'll just be crawling out of bed for a sunrise piccie :lmao:

Good morning people, :goodvibes

Why does Monday come round so quickly?:confused3

The weekend went by in a flash.

Only three more school functions to organise and we're done for the year til September:woohoo:

Another dull and cloudy day here .... can someone PLEASE spare a little sunshine and send it in a large jiffy bag to me?:flower3:

I hope everyone had a great Father's Day! :)

We were a little busy soaking up a VERY wet basement this weekend. We had storms on Thursday night and again Friday night. Saturday afternoon we started seeing all sorts of problems in the basement. It smells like old socks as soon as you walk in the back door.:scared1::scared1::scared1:

More storms predicted for today too.:eek::eek: I think we'll be fussing with that basement tonight too.

Hope our guests don't mind the smell of an outhouse for a few days. :scared1:

Yikes, hope the weather lets up for you guys.

We did a lot of nothing yesterday, DS # 2 and I did the grilling, DH watched the Red Sox.All turned out well, no burnt meat!

Good morning everyone. I hope all is well wherever you happen to be. I will be running around a bit today, but its all good. It will keep me entertained. I got a new album on my iPod that is great. It is the Original Broadway recording for the Musical, Rock of Ages. It is basically a musical with a story written around key rock songs of the 1980s. The finale is "Don't Stop Believin" by Journey song by the stars and company. It is a great recording that I have been listening too. It should keep me entertained while I drive from place to place today.

Agreed....That made our New England DIS meet all the better. It was weird "meeting" people you already kind of know, but it was a good weird. :lmao::rotfl::rotfl:

That sounds fun, but looking on Amazon, I don't think it's one of those internet wii games. Mario Cart was fun yesterday. Rick 'hogged' the controller all evening. My turn next time! We could have a US vs UK battle!:rotfl2:
