I'm Nancy (often referred to as MG or Mother Goose) and cruising with DH Chuck (Charlie Tuna). If you have any questions about cruising with the Mouse, just ask away. We have a very seasoned bunch of BOBers cruising with us and always willing to answer questions.

Good morning all.
Spent yesterday in Panama City at one of our properties. Bueatiful building, but no beach accrss. You have to walk across the street and through a parking lot. Don't know how we will ever fill it up.

Packed and made lists for week end at the beach. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.

OK, so, first, it was not that easy to find this thread..the "find your meet" thread still references #1 (612 pages long!). I was lamenting how I would never get through all that when I finally found thread #23 (the 22nd thread)!! Maybe someone could update the "finder" thread, or maybe the last post on each thread (before closing) could point to the new thread? (If they do, just ignore this - haven't been there yet)

Now, I don't know whether to be intimidated or to join right in, so I'm opting for the latter...
here's our info:
kdzgon = Chuck & Laurie, with 2 DGS, 6 1/2 and 4 1/2 when we sail (kids made me add the "1/2"s!), Florida
We have been on a number of cruises, but this will be our first "official" Disney cruise (I took my kids on the "big Red Boat" many years ago) and we are pretty excited!

By any chance, does anyone have a "Reader's Digest" version of all these threads

I have not yet attempted all the other threads, but the links to the excursions in the original thread are no longer valid.

I actually thought to look for a "meet" thread because I was trying to find out what a "fish extender" is - kind of a convoluted trip but, hey...

Anyway, happy to be here, and I hope to meet you all in person this October!

4-day cruises but this will be our first 7 day.

I have a "vacation" day at work. "Vacation" meaning....NO BOSSES!!
It'll be such a relaxed day. Karen, I'm bringing along my new camera, the manual, my new memory cards....everything but a replacement battery. They didn't have any at Best Buy. I have to find one on the internet somewhere.

Then....Chuck, Tony and Jesse will be out of town all weekend at a basketball tournament. Kristin, Stacy and I are having a "Girl's Weekend". Dinner tonight, SHOPPING at the outlet malls tomorrow with lunch at The Chancery (yummy veggie wraps!!!) and a movie tomorrow afternoon. It'll be one big sleepover all weekend too!! I bought the Benjamin Button movie and also received my Best of Carol Burnett dvd's so it'll be a "TV Sunday"!


I just hope the money doesn't run out Saturday morning already.

Soooo.....thay means Pete and I have a couple of days without a kid. Tonight we're planning to go out to dinner and then see the new Star Trek movie. Tomorrow we'll be sleeping in and then hanging out.

You'll enjoy it, its a great movie.

We are hoping to see Angels & Demons this week end.

We want to see this one. Hope its still in the Cinemas when we get back.

I would love to see both movies myself but have a lot to do for the shower. That darn wedding is messing up my weekends. It is less than two months and I am getting very excited. I can get my dress zipped at this point. I still can not breath in it but I have a few weeks to get a couple of pounds off and breathing room.

Great going Leisha. You're bound to feel and look great for the wedding.

Hey guys, just checking in on the new thread...thanks Jeff for directions

So we spent Wednesday night at the Children's Hospital. Kira's cheek and chin were very swollen They believe that she has swollen lymph nodes probably caused by bacteria from a sore she has on her chin.

Thursday morning the swelling had spread from her right side to both sides. She is on antibiotics and we're hoping that will do the trick, if not we have to go back to the hospital

Welcome Laurie. I'm Heather and my DH is Rick. We're from the UK and sailed with the group 2 years ago. Most of the last 22 threads have been general chatter and welcoming new sailors to the fold. There will be more and more information and talk about the cruise, the nearer we get to sail date.

Just jump in and ask lots of questions...someone will be along to answer.

We have tried to get the "find your meet" thread updated without success. If you PM Cass (Timon), she has a brilliant website, which contains all the essential information and more, and she'll send you the link.

Karen and Rose, you two prefer reds, don't you? I have switched to whites for some time now. Reds keep me from sleeping well and give me a bit of a headache the next morning--even just one glass of red does that to me. Rob likes reds.

We recently bout a case and had it shipped to the house from a company called Wine Insiders. They send you a variety from all over the world. So far, the Argentine wine is the only one that has gotten a thumbs down from us.
