Good evening everyone!! Schools out for the...summer --now I can post more and hopefully keep up.

I need to look into getting insurance for my grandma...any ideas? This is the first time I am getting insurance and I have no clue what to do.

Hey Rose! In answer to your question in the previous thread. I think the video cost about $40 at the time. Which we thought was a huge sum. We pooled our money and bought it.

I'm here Karen and checking in on thread 23.

What's up for the weekend people??

I have a "vacation" day at work. "Vacation" meaning....NO BOSSES!!
It'll be such a relaxed day. Karen, I'm bringing along my new camera, the manual, my new memory cards....everything but a replacement battery. They didn't have any at Best Buy. I have to find one on the internet somewhere.

Then....Chuck, Tony and Jesse will be out of town all weekend at a basketball tournament. Kristin, Stacy and I are having a "Girl's Weekend". Dinner tonight, SHOPPING at the outlet malls tomorrow with lunch at The Chancery (yummy veggie wraps!!!) and a movie tomorrow afternoon. It'll be one big sleepover all weekend too!! I bought the Benjamin Button movie and also received my Best of Carol Burnett dvd's so it'll be a "TV Sunday"!


I just hope the money doesn't run out Saturday morning already.

Karen, I didn't know about the "bursting" feature on the camera but I'll be finding out today.

Joanne: I was a little broken hearted about Danny leaving American Idol too. But....from what I understand he is relieved about it. Kristin was saying that leaving the show in 3rd place is a good thing. You have control of your life at this point and American Idol can't control it anymore. It's all good.

Heather: Have a wonderful cruise woman! Lots of piccies and be sure to post a link to Algae's blog again before you leave so we can all follow along.

Walt and Di: Sorry if I missed your send off, but have a safe and adventurous trip!

Last post - wino's means drunks or bums over here

here too.....but somehow a "wino" seems more lovable than a drunk....

Karen and Rose, you two prefer reds, don't you? I have switched to whites for some time now. Reds keep me from sleeping well and give me a bit of a headache the next morning--even just one glass of red does that to me. Rob likes reds.

We recently bout a case and had it shipped to the house from a company called Wine Insiders. They send you a variety from all over the world. So far, the Argentine wine is the only one that has gotten a thumbs down from us.

Spent yesterday in Panama City at one of our properties. Bueatiful building, but no beach accrss. You have to walk across the street and through a parking lot. Don't know how we will ever fill it up.

Packed and made lists for week end at the beach. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.

We also have a bit of a fun weekend planned. Thomas is being picked up tonight by Grandma and Grandpa for the weekend! He is so excited! He gets to stay over Friday night, then on Saturday his 2 cousins (ages 6 and 4) will be coming over with their mom, and they're all staying over Saturday night. Then, they'll take him to the family gathering on Sunday, and we'll get him back then.

Soooo.....thay means Pete and I have a couple of days without a kid. Tonight we're planning to go out to dinner and then see the new Star Trek movie. Tomorrow we'll be sleeping in and then hanging out.
