Karen, It's Murphys law isn't it? That's always how things work around here too. Good luck with the portraits kiddo. You'll do just fine though.

Guess what was waiting for me this afternoon when I got home.......... a card off the postie telling me I had a parcel:rolleyes:.....ya dont say:rolleyes:... I KNEW it would come whilst I was there:rotfl:

Good luck and have fun, those parents will appreciate it all. I am sure it will come out fine.

It went well. No catastrophes at all:woohoo:. We even managed (with the help of his carer) to get the child in the wheelchair standing for his portrait.. he wanted to surprise his Mom....I would love to be there when his Mom sees that photo. I bet she'll bawl her eyes out and be so proud. His carer was brilliant. She contorted herself to hold him up so she wasnt in the photo. He was sooooooo excited and its a fab picture - my favourite - his smile is amazing and he's so proud that he's standing. I just wanted to hug him:hug:

Hey Karen, in case you hadn't noticed, Nancy is only 8 away from a poem. Just want to make sure she puts hers up. :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

:rotfl: No pressure Nancy:rotfl:

wow. and new siding too.:worship:

the money trees in WI must be blooming early this year. :woohoo:hope theres a few leaves left by the 4th.

Don't be too impressed Mike, we're using our cruise money to do all that. ;)

Doing the same thing on the Magic. :cool1:

(not the painting or working part, just spending time with dear friends)

Pfffft! I'm taking the above :hug:back now. :goodvibes

Hello everyone. Well, the kids didn't have school today so it was the perfect day to march them to the post office to get their passports. $170 later, their applications are on their way! :woohoo:

Elaine and I will go on Friday (payday) to get ours. Just another step closer to the cruise.

Feels good to get that off your plate....well, halfway anyway. :woohoo:

karen...since you are quite the photographer these days....whats the chances of getting you to take the ladies pictures for the "girls of the BOB 2010" calendar on the ship? perhaps the ladies would feel more comfortable with a woman photographer.:rolleyes1:laughing:
i would of course be there to oversee the whole photoshoot.pirate:pirate:

Evening guys. Been busy here. All caught up and will try to post pics soon.

The overseas bases are the hardest to leave, the friends you make are so much closer. When we left Germany I cried for days, swore I would never make another friend. I didn't work when my kids were little so we had a lot of very good friends.

You are right. My friends while we were stationed in Germany were just like family. The sad thing I have not seen or spoke to any of them in years. I think about them alot though. Di

Busy day today got a call this morning from Nancy's 89yr old mother that her dad had been sick all night after we evaluated the problem we called the rescue. After arriving at the hospital and all the testing he will be having his Gaul Bladder removed tomorrow PM. To say the least we are a little worried at 89 having surgery can be tricky.
We will let you all know tomorrow how we are doing.

Dan

Prayers are being said for Nancy's dad. Her mom too. Di

not bad for a girl who's mom told her she wasnt smart enough to go to college.
i especially loved it when they said at graduation.."graduating with distinction." thats my girl.:love:

BTW..robin recieved a poochie in the mail today from a disser who shall remain nameless.(she loves it) thats the kind of poochie i like...stuffed.

you are so bad. After all she has accomplished she deserves two poochies and not the stuffed kind.

Thanks Rose!

I wish we could. But Scott's company has given his final day notice as to the plant shutting down, so we have less then a year to try to better our finances in some way shape or form. We both want to go so bad it is just not in the cards for us now.

Maybe things will chane in the next few months.:grouphug:

Joanne are you packed and ready to go? Have a great time! I will be thinking about you next week. :goodvibes

The little voices in my head will not even talk to me right now. :rotfl2: I guess they are even bored by me. :lmao: Have a great night peeps!
