Geez! - slooooow morning:eek:

Where is everyone?:confused3

Neils just gone to collect the Jeep from the garage - it passed:yay::woohoo: - no big bills:yay::woohoo:

St Thomas-

http://sunnylistontours.com/description.html

I hadnt noticed this link before off page 1.

Maybe if theres enough people interested we could hire him for the day so we get to choose the itinary. We could do eg Mountain top for a little shopping and sightseeing, then Sapphire and then Meghans beach all in one day for one price of $40 per person - no additional taxis etc and we get the tour to ourselves and see both beaches etc. Anyone else interested?:confused3

Theres 3 of us. Up to 10 people its $425 split between us all, 11 people or more $40 each.

It's tempting Karen, but Rick and I want to do St John this year.

Do you bring your own snorkel equipment, or just rent? As DH has size 15 feet we tend to bring ours along (plus he hates to use anyone else's snorkel & mask, what with the spitting and all...). I'm not so sure he's going to be doing any more snorkeling but we now have the grands getting started. It's always a trade-off between lugging and expense so I'm not sure yet what we'll do this year.

Size 15 :scared1:

Wow....Their must be some advantage to having your toes arrive somewhere 10 minuets before the rest of your body.....:rolleyes1

Great news Karen :cool1::thumbsup2

We're just going to a beach with Kira for a few hours, otherwise we would join you. :goodvibes

I'd like to do Trunk Bay also, but my nephew is only 4 and the DCL excursion is for 5 and up. I also was thinking about that tram (is it called Paradise Point)?

I have no idea on St. Maarten - maybe shopping?

CC - I want to see the stingrays, and see if DS wants to check out the kids club on the island so DH and I can sneak over to the adult beach. If not, that's ok too. Maybe the BOBers can take over a big section of the family beach and all hang out!

I fancy that paradise point too.:thumbsup2 - the views look great.

We'll be putting Ellis in the kids club for an hour too so we might see you at the adult beach:goodvibes

:yay::yay::yay::yay: More pennies for the BOB then. Smoothies all round, courtesy of Neil?

We might be able to afford MNSSHP now:yay:

No problem - take lots of piccies so I can see what I missed:thumbsup2 Are you doing it on your own or a disney excursion?

Just been playing hide and seek in the house:lmao:... hilarious.... Neil stuffed himself into a wardrobe and Ellis couldnt find him for ages:lmao:

The poor guy was twisted and cramped inside for about 10 minutes:lmao:
In the end he had to call out and help Ellis find him because his legs were going numb:rotfl2:

Sounds like fun Karen, but I think we will probably just do the truck tours again on St.Thomas. We saw soooo much on that tour last time all for only $25.00 each.

St Martin will be shopping in the straw markets and back onto the ship this time. Chuck and I did a tour in 05' and loved it but the kids don't seem too interested in that. I have to agree with you on Maho. I would be there in a second if I knew we could see all those huge jets. :scared1:

What fun!:banana:Since our kids are waaaaay too old for that now we play hide and seek on Cabo. Last week I hid in the car and kept calling for him. Poor little guy was going nuts trying to find me. At first he was mad and then he started wimpering so I gave in.

I'll rent. The only time I go snorkeling is in the Caribbean and at Typhoon Lagoon.

I've never been to TL and didn't know you could snorkel there (or are you pulling my leg?), but we have only snorkeled in the Caribbean so far. We have our own equipment because of DH's foot size (and aversion to sharing with strangers) plus we used to cruise quite a bit, including longer cruises. I'd much rather be on a beach than shop (especially when we'd be escaping the northeast cold) so 5-7 ports on an 11 or 12 night cruise would provide lots of opportunity. Plus, it meant we could snorkel at less commercial beaches if we didn't have to worry about renting equipment.

Happy Birthday Janice!

And thanks to his diabetes he has absolutely no feeling in them any more so he cannot even tell when they arrive lol

Yes, shoe shopping is always an adventure. But then, so is packing trying to fit his shoes in the suitcases. He can't just stop somewhere and pick up a pair if he forgets something so we need to be prepared.

I'm serious! There is an attraction called Shark Reef where you can snorkel and see sharks. The water is cooler than in the rest of the park to keep the environment just right.

I agree on the beach! If I just wanted to cruise and shop, I wouldn't take a Caribbean cruise. I would take a New England cruise or bermuda cruise where I don't have to drive/fly an excessive distance. There are a lot of ships that homeport 2 hours or less from my home, but I want that warm azure water!
