We have found it's pretty easy to not miss a return ferry. We have always found the taxi drivers at St John's to be quite helpful. We would just tell them what time we needed to be back at the ship and they would help us figure out what time to leave the beach we had chosen. We do generally purchase our return ferry ticket before leaving the pier though just in case there is some sort of delay upon returning to the pier for the return ferry.

Depending upon where and when Disney's ship docks (& when you disembark) you might need to allow for a taxi ride to and/or from a different ferry, too.

Thanls for the info - something to think about for sure:thumbsup2

Good news this weekend...Jay is finally riding his bike!!!!

Way to go Jay:woohoo::woohoo: - piccies?:confused3

I hadnt noticed this link before off page 1.

Maybe if theres enough people interested we could hire him for the day so we get to choose the itinary. We could do eg Mountain top for a little shopping and sightseeing, then Sapphire and then Meghans beach all in one day for one price of $40 per person - no additional taxis etc and we get the tour to ourselves and see both beaches etc. Anyone else interested?:confused3

Theres 3 of us. Up to 10 people its $425 split between us all, 11 people or more $40 each.

Is your daughter a lawyer?

No she works for the CPS,Crown Prosecution service, like your DA's office,i think (yes all way over my head:rolleyes1)her job is to compile all the evidence and witness statements for the Barrister prosecuting the case when they need them....You'll have to ask her about some of the more odd cases she handlers....:scared1::rotfl2::scared1:

What no Rich Purpura?:rotfl:

Heather you forgot to mention the fact his act is the same and has been since 1977.....:rolleyes1

Good morning everybody. Well today and tomorrow are my 2 days off from my little job which will come to an end at the end of the month. I think two months is just fine. Im retired and want to go places and do things to much work will screw up the social life.:lmao::lmao: Im ready to get done until next year.
Its a beautiful day here in Maine. Weather man says it will be about 70 today.
This afternoon Nancy is taking our youngest grandchild to a childrens play at our local summer playhouse. With any luck I hope to get some fishing in today.
Everybody have a great day.

PS Again Joanne those are great pictures

Good morning everyone...

It's Monday! I am hoping this week goes by quick. There is nothing really for us until the weekend, just a typical week, so therefore nothing to really break up the days.

In about 40 minutes, I'll head into work and get things going. My office worker is out, so I will be playing receptionist again. I hope there will be DISers online to keep me company! :lmao:

Geez! - slooooow morning:eek:

Where is everyone?:confused3

Neils just gone to collect the Jeep from the garage - it passed:yay::woohoo: - no big bills:yay::woohoo:

I'm here! Do they sell Jeep's in the UK??? Are they the same Jeep's we have in the US? I am a car guy, so I am just wondering.

Karen,

I might be interested....I'll have to see what the rest of my group wants to do.

Excursion booking time will be here before we know it! Isn't it July 26th for returning cruisers?

This gets me thinking - I may have to try and get my group together and talk about excursions. Hmmmmm.......

We pretty much have our port days figured out.

In St. Maarten my dad knows of a beach that is very convenient to the ship. We are renting a couple of jetskiis there.

In St. Thomas we are taking the St. John Trunk Bay Snorkel tour.

In CC, we are just chilling. I plan on going snorkeling though. I missed that last time. I was just too lazy to do it! :lmao:

We have a jeep grand cherokee. Its expensive to get parts etc over here though

I know, its coming round quickly isnt it!:yay: I've only just started looking at excursions etc this last week. Seems a reasonable price considering we could pick our own schedule and itinary etc.

Thanks, Roger finished loading the rest last night. So hopefully I will get back to it.

Enjoy your day off!

Trunk bay - I'd love to visit there but what puts me off is that you only get 1 1/2 hours on the beach though.

CC - I dont think we'll do much this time. Maybe hire a bike, maybe not:rotfl: Depends how lazy I'm feeling that day. We didnt make it to the adult beach last time, so I want to head out that way for a while this time round.

Havent even started thinking about St Maaarten yet, I wish the beach with the planes (Maho) was nicer:sad2: -I'd love to see the big planes come in. If there are any due that day I might still go there just for the experience (and hopefully a great photo opportunity!), then go onto a nice beach for an hour or so.

Do you bring your own snorkel equipment, or just rent? As DH has size 15 feet we tend to bring ours along (plus he hates to use anyone else's snorkel & mask, what with the spitting and all...). I'm not so sure he's going to be doing any more snorkeling but we now have the grands getting started. It's always a trade-off between lugging and expense so I'm not sure yet what we'll do this year.

I'll rent. The only time I go snorkeling is in the Caribbean and at Typhoon Lagoon.

I'd like to do Trunk Bay also, but my nephew is only 4 and the DCL excursion is for 5 and up. I also was thinking about that tram (is it called Paradise Point)?

I have no idea on St. Maarten - maybe shopping?

CC - I want to see the stingrays, and see if DS wants to check out the kids club on the island so DH and I can sneak over to the adult beach. If not, that's ok too. Maybe the BOBers can take over a big section of the family beach and all hang out!

Good morning! :goodvibes I have a lot to catch up on. We had a wonderful weekend! I love this time of year. It is in the 80's and sunny. I am working in the office today. so I will be on periodically. Have a good one!!
