Morning all :wave2:

Yes, we got that. We'd seen a programme here on TV the night before, all about Star Trek. It made the same reference, so it was fresh in our mind.

I particularly avoided fan sites and television programs about the new movie. I wanted to see it with fresh eyes. I'm definately a nerd in that way.

And what did you get?

Milk, bread, potatoes, icecream and coffee perhaps????

bread, bananas, carrot sticks, sugar free candies, that's all. Hardly worth the gas but I wanted to get out! Guess with gas going up again I need to plan better.

N

5 minutes into my lunch and I'm done catching up??? Was this thread closed and no one left me any breadcrumbs? :confused3

WHERE DID EVERYBODY GOOOOOOOOOOOO?????;)

Congrats! But did the banker survive. :lmao:

Nancy! - found something great about our camera! - bottom right hand button (the bin).... if you press it whilst in a shooting mode (ie anything other than playback) you get burst mode! ...I have had this camera 3+ years and only just found it!----perfect for Shamu shots!:yay: takes 5 or 6 shots straight after each other (without flash). There are 3 options - high low or continuos. perfect for the skateboarding piccies today (although they dont seem as sharp as a scene mode.

ok, who else has a burst mode? I'll be "bursting" at every opportunity!:yay:

I'm that way, too. Right now, I just have to avoid my husband>>> he went to see it without me!

He has promised to go with me, too. Right now I'm just wondering if it would be worth it to see it in IMAX. Unfortunately, that would be harder to manage than a show during the day that we can both go to. (I'm pretty sure the IMAX we go to only has evening performances.)

I've used "burst" on our camera before. It's great for active shots of kids...especially since I often "miss" the shot I want due to the delay that seems to happen with digital cameras!

It was a show called...Bring back Star Trek. It starred a guy called Justin Lee Collins, who tried in 10 days to track down various members of the cast and tried to reunite them. He interviewed many cast members but not James Shatner. He did catch up with Leonard Nimoy and the interview was extremely interesting.

Oh thats a shame Beth. I've heard that IMAX is great. The film is a must.

Wow I wish I had know that, I had so many empty starting blocks when Patrick was swimming.

Just found it on my panasonic camera. Have to try this at Sea World this year. It's our plan to go there this year.
