I have the old DMC fx01 - Easy point and shoot

It's also a nice size in the hand to hold and take the photo. The smaller the camera, the harder it is to keep it steady, even with steady-shot.

Not sure if we have yearly policies or not.

But with my trip to DC, most everything was cancellable except the airline, which would only be $75 to change.

I get the insurance for the cruise in case we miss the ship or need a medical evacuation back to shore. We'll do it also for winter trips when we could get delayed due to the weather.

The yearly ones are the way to go over here, if you do more than 1 trip a year.

The yearly ones are the way to go over here, if you do more than 1 trip a year.

We do 2 to 3 and sometimes 4 a year, but at least 1, and usually 2, we don't have a need for the insurance.
