Actually I want to try to get my hair cut today, along with Emily and Alex. And I need to take Emily down to the pool to sign up for the lifeguard course. She is trying to get a job there this summer. And I need to get to the florist to get a boutonniere for her date for prom on Saturday night.

I'd help you get to the next milestone, but I have to get ready for work and I'm trying not to DIS from there since we had a new firewall put in that monitors the internet usage. You know how IT people are with new toys - they will see all these hits to the DIS Boards.

Actually I have 2 meetings today. This afternoons will be long and boring - Budget.

I have that problem too, but don't see it to be a red flag. Employees have very limited access, but officers like me have full access, but they still monitor our activity.

I usually have the DIS open at work with our Lotus Notes. I keep DIS minimized while doing actual work, and refresh every little while to check for new posts.

No need to ever apologize for proud Mommy moments Karen. We all have them and we all like to share them. Daddy's have them too.

BTW...Dirty Muppet? Love it!!

Neil was really proud of him. Neil kept away as much as possible to let him have the experience on his own, but sneekily kept a beady eye on him from a distance to make sure he was ok and eating enough etc. He said he behaved really well and joined in everything. I heard him telling his friends all about it as they went into school today

Well, what a lunchtime!

I think everything that could have gone wrong today did!

I look after 29 kids - 1 class

1. The teacher kept the whole class in for 20 minutes so we were all late to dinner.
2. One child opened his lunchbox to find everything soggy - his water bottle leaked so we had to transfer him to the dinners queue and alter all the paperwork
3. Two children spilt their drinks over themselves so had to change into spare clothes.
4. One child dropped her entire dinner on the floor so had to rejoin the line for dinners
5. One child knocked his front tooth out
6. One child cut his head open and had to be sent home
7. 3 children hurt themselves and had to be "first aided".


All that in 50 minutes I'm shattered!...I dont get paid enough

Jeff, I'm still waiting on Suz' birthday prezzie to be delivered...I ordered it ages ago..apparantly its been shipped so its on its way... I've been waiting 12 days already

It might be a day or two late if it doesnt turn up soon.

It will hopefully get there for the 21st, but if its late please explain its not my fault

Good Morning everybody
Well I hope all Moms had a great day yesterday. Our three sons came to visit there Mom yesterday. Between the three they gave her a new MP3player and a rose bush to plant in the garden.
Today Nancy is working and Im on my what you would call my weekend HA HA. I have Monday and Tuesday off and have to work Wed thru Sun.
Joanne I assume you have our in RE: Palo?
Everybody have a great day if the lawns drys i will have to mow but it doesn't look good. Enough rain already HA. So i guess I will go to Staples this morning and get so new printer cartridges for our printer.

I am at work now and boy is it quiet! Its quiet, too quiet!

I think Elaine is going to see the Hannah Montana movie today with one of the young adults from the church. The two of them are so funny, I have no idea why they are going to see it. They will probably just laugh hysterically through the whole thing.

This afternoon I will be renting a pressure washer to get our garage ready to paint. For some reason when the house was sided years ago, they didn't put siding on the detached garage. Now it is flaking really bad and desperately needs paint. I am committed to painting it, so I am getting a pressure washer to knock the loose paint off. Hopefully, I can paint then tomorrow.
