Hey everyone. I am back from my conference, but will just be sleeping and driving back to NYC tomorrow for the Yankees/Indians game at 1:00. We are leaving early so we get there as soon as the gates open.
Yeah...This car is a Toyota and they are known to last. I am guessing we will replace it between 120,000-150,000.
Hey Cass here is a pic of our window. Those aren't water drops.

There was a mirror in the room, but on the wall facing the bed. Bit kinky!
This is a 2005 Toyota Sienna minivan. It is a company car, so we drive about 25,000 miles a year. Our replacement schedule is 4 years or 100,000 miles for field units (thats what I am). They keep raising it though, and I expect that since we now have Honda and Toyota on our official vehicle list.I have a '96 Prizm with a Corolla engine in it. 207,000 miles. Toyotas and Hondas go forever.
I have an '04 Accord with a V6. I expect that one to go 220k-240k, unless I smash it up (this is the one I got into the accident with back in December. Hit a deer with it 3 weeks ago. Not having good luck with it).
I actually took a '90 Chevy Beretta to 165,000 miles. Surprising for a GM. Our Bravada is a '00 and has about 131,000 on it. Seems to be doing better than the Chevy I had. Maybe we'll get 200k out of that one too.
A car is such a bad investment you need to look at ones that can get that many miles. I drive about 20,000+ a year, so 10 years is 200,000 miles.
And here's one more of my little pumpkin just after bag check at MK....I think she was looking for Mike & Robin's bricks![]()
Too bad. I think there will be a few of us there that night. We'll catch you on the ship though.![]()
have to admit chris, didnt like seeing CC in those pinstripes today.
they sooo need a salary cap in baseball.
the rich boys keep stealing our good players.
they dont have that problem in the womens beach volleyball league.![]()
I am really looking forward to going to the game tomorrow. We are taking my dad for his birthday. Since he doesn't read the DIS too much, I can go ahead and say that we are having his birthday greetings displayed on the jumbotron tomorrow. I will hopefully snag a picture!
We are in the upper tier, 3rd base side. I will have a gray hoodie with a interlocking NY on the front. Sadly, no sign....the games on tv. i'll be watching for ya.
you going to hold up a "HI BOBBERS" sign?![]()
we had a 1977 olds cutlass for 23 years. sold it in 2000. great car.
bought it when ds was born, and he ended up driving it through high school.
we've only bought GM here and have always had great results.

Oh wow, that is bad!!!What room is that Becky???
Didn't he get in trouble for driving through the high school?![]()
Wow, that is bad.
Never had a problem like that in our Cat 9's or SPH rooms. I can't believe they didn't try to replace that at all when it was in LA. Sorry you had to look through that for 2 weeks.
theres something about that pic that mikey likes.![]()
I took it on my phone which has a full viewscreen. There were virtually no cars on the road as I was on a desolate highway about 30 miles west of Albany, NY. It was totally safe!
