Hey everyone. I am back from my conference, but will just be sleeping and driving back to NYC tomorrow for the Yankees/Indians game at 1:00. We are leaving early so we get there as soon as the gates open.

Yeah...This car is a Toyota and they are known to last. I am guessing we will replace it between 120,000-150,000.

hope the Indians do as well tomorrow as they did today!!!!:woohoo:
GO TRIBE!!:woohoo:popcorn:::rolleyes1

we had a 1977 olds cutlass for 23 years. sold it in 2000. great car.:thumbsup2
bought it when ds was born, and he ended up driving it through high school.:hippie::hippie:
we've only bought GM here and have always had great results.
:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Hey Cass here is a pic of our window. Those aren't water drops.

theres something about that pic that mikey likes.:rolleyes1:cloud9:

I have a '96 Prizm with a Corolla engine in it. 207,000 miles. Toyotas and Hondas go forever.

I have an '04 Accord with a V6. I expect that one to go 220k-240k, unless I smash it up (this is the one I got into the accident with back in December. Hit a deer with it 3 weeks ago. Not having good luck with it).

I actually took a '90 Chevy Beretta to 165,000 miles. Surprising for a GM. Our Bravada is a '00 and has about 131,000 on it. Seems to be doing better than the Chevy I had. Maybe we'll get 200k out of that one too.

A car is such a bad investment you need to look at ones that can get that many miles. I drive about 20,000+ a year, so 10 years is 200,000 miles.
This is a 2005 Toyota Sienna minivan. It is a company car, so we drive about 25,000 miles a year. Our replacement schedule is 4 years or 100,000 miles for field units (thats what I am). They keep raising it though, and I expect that since we now have Honda and Toyota on our official vehicle list.

Dawg...our other official vehicle is a 2007 Chevrolet Express van. I have owned 2 Fords and 2 Chevys. Well, not really owned but was responsible for, and this Chevy is the best van I have ever had. I am kind of hoping that they start to allow Crossovers on our official list as I would get a GM crossover in a minute. I really like them. I am not impressed with the service department at our Toyota dealer, but love the Chevrolet service department.

And here's one more of my little pumpkin just after bag check at MK....I think she was looking for Mike & Robin's bricks :thumbsup2:goodvibes
:cutie::cutie:
hey!! i think rob is standing on one of them!!:headache:

I am really looking forward to going to the game tomorrow. We are taking my dad for his birthday. Since he doesn't read the DIS too much, I can go ahead and say that we are having his birthday greetings displayed on the jumbotron tomorrow. I will hopefully snag a picture!

heres a blast from the past.:cloud9:
notice how they were laying on the yellow Mickey ponchos so as not to get dirty.:lmao:

We are in the upper tier, 3rd base side. I will have a gray hoodie with a interlocking NY on the front. Sadly, no sign....

Last year being a bleacher creature, I used to see myself on the jumbotron during the National anthem and God bless America. They would always show a big flag that some of the other creatures would hold up a few rows behind me.

I'm on StubHub selling extra tickets now...well posting them for sale anyway. :rolleyes1

Didn't he get in trouble for driving through the high school? :confused3

Wow, that is bad.

Never had a problem like that in our Cat 9's or SPH rooms. I can't believe they didn't try to replace that at all when it was in LA. Sorry you had to look through that for 2 weeks.

It was, but here was frustrating 5 day cruise issue. I thought that the 5 dayer was full so I didn't even bother to ask if someone was in the room. There wasn't, so here I packed everything up for nothing.:headache: Should have just asked. BTW 2 reservations are not necessarily linked. Of course my 2 reservations were with DU and DVC. Live and learn.

I took it on my phone which has a full viewscreen. There were virtually no cars on the road as I was on a desolate highway about 30 miles west of Albany, NY. It was totally safe!

:

Have been there many times, SIL lives in Schenectady. Did you get to Cooperstown?
