No problem. Only 2 more weeks. Hope the warm weather is there by then.

Are the kids off all this week? Doing anythin fun with them?

They were off last week. My mom came up for a couple of days.

What you trying to say Missy?.....:lmao::rotfl 2::lmao:

Welcome am Chris,Hazel is my dominant wife and My "kids" are Jessica,Rosie,Master Ryan and we too are from the UK.....:)

And why not dear?....:rolleyes1

Will you guys be up for an audience with the common people while your over here Lori.........:rolleyes1

I don't live in Wisconsin where those nice money trees grow, remember?

We def want to see you all while there. I believe Scott is going to "church" with Sean one day. You all can talk about that on the cruise!!!!!

Well, gang, it looks like I may be able to convince Rob to fly down on Friday the 23rd. The only problem is that we will not be able to stay at the Radisson. We'll stay at LaQuinta (where we stayed last time) on points. So we'll have a free room and free breakfast. It's true there is no shuttle from the hotel, but it's no biggie for him to drop me off and go turn in the car and take their shuttle....I'm just a tad bit nervous about flying the morning of the 24th. If I know my DH, he could make it work for us (he's one of those go-getters), but I would probably drive him nuts with my anxiety. So I think we will do JetBlue from Richmond on the Friday evening--approx 5pm--landing at approx 7pm.

If it's not too late by the time we get to the Cape, we could maybe crash the meet.......:dance3:

Much better idea Paige. :thumbsup2

We're staying at the Radisson but not using the shuttle. We'll have the guys drop us off and they can return the cars and take Avis' shuttle to the Port. We did that last time too and it worked out perfectly. By the time we got to the desk to check-in, Tony and Chuck were there already.

Does anyone have the RootBeer Cake recipe with Dream Whip? I'm not sure but I think it was Jen or Kathy who had it.

I just thought I'd jump in on the MNSSHP discussion. We are planning on doing Halloween after we get off the ship! We also realized (if Matthew hasn't already posted it!) that the girls have a day or 2 off right after our cruise ends, so we'll get to play a little longer! (That assumes that I don't keep picking up colds from my coworkers and missing work like I did Tuesday night! - so I have the time off available)

Just wondering: who else is going on Halloween? We'll all be using our pirate costumes since suitcase space is limited!pirate:

There's quite a few of us who will be at MNSSHP that night. We will be there for sure :thumbsup2 Rob and Kira will be pirates or a pirate and a princess and I will be in shorts and a tee since it's too darm warm to wear a costume for me :scared:

Oooh yes, please crash the party :thumbsup2

Chuck and Tony were about 10 people ahead of us in the security line...I was waving like a mad woman and they were thinking who is that crazy mad woman waving at us :lmao:

Hey Cass here is a pic of our window. Those aren't water drops.

Hey everyone. I am back from my conference, but will just be sleeping and driving back to NYC tomorrow for the Yankees/Indians game at 1:00. We are leaving early so we get there as soon as the gates open.
I just turned over 85,000 on one of our cars today. I haven't checked where the SUV is at because it can only display either all miles or the trip odometer and we leave it on trip. I think it is around 131,000 or so. Our third car is nearing 207,000.

Remember the days when if a car got to 100,000 miles it was time to dump it?
Yeah...This car is a Toyota and they are known to last. I am guessing we will replace it between 120,000-150,000.

:scared1::scared1:Chris, I notice that you were still driving when you took this. Are you mad?:scared1:

And doing almost 80!!!
I took it on my phone which has a full viewscreen. There were virtually no cars on the road as I was on a desolate highway about 30 miles west of Albany, NY. It was totally safe!

Has anyone been watching "Deadliest Catch"? The new season started on Tuesday. I love that show.
I set the DVR to record it while we were on vacation and watched it last night when I got home. Poor Captain Keith! Ouch! :headache::headache::headache:

Jeff, the 22nd for MNSSHP is not gonna work for us :sad2: That's the night I will need to do all our laundry and start packing up for the cruise because the next day we are off to a park and then driving to the Radisson when we are done.

Sunday works for us because we are checking into our condo the night before and we will need to go shopping for groceries on Sunday morning to load up for the week.

I have a '96 Prizm with a Corolla engine in it. 207,000 miles. Toyotas and Hondas go forever.

I have an '04 Accord with a V6. I expect that one to go 220k-240k, unless I smash it up (this is the one I got into the accident with back in December. Hit a deer with it 3 weeks ago. Not having good luck with it).

I actually took a '90 Chevy Beretta to 165,000 miles. Surprising for a GM. Our Bravada is a '00 and has about 131,000 on it. Seems to be doing better than the Chevy I had. Maybe we'll get 200k out of that one too.

A car is such a bad investment you need to look at ones that can get that many miles. I drive about 20,000+ a year, so 10 years is 200,000 miles.

Wow, that is bad.

Never had a problem like that in our Cat 9's or SPH rooms. I can't believe they didn't try to replace that at all when it was in LA. Sorry you had to look through that for 2 weeks.

Too bad. I think there will be a few of us there that night. We'll catch you on the ship though. :thumbsup2

Not sure if we'll be with Avis or Budget. If Avis, there will be a bunch of BOB dudes coming back on the Avis shuttle.

Currently I'm with Budget, but prefer Avis. I will be relooking at everything this weekend, so that may change.
