Cass,

Heather was in Cat 11 on the Repo. She got one of the sideways ones.

I haven't done all my digging, but I did find a print off from DCL's site of the Rates for the EB Repo (these are per person, before any discounts or taxes):

Cat 1 = $6,699-$7,099
Cat 2 = $6,199-$6,599
Cat 3 = $5,299-$5,699
Cat 4 = $3,969-$4,519
Cat 5 = $3,429-$3,979
Cat 6 = $3,329-$3,879
Cat 7 = $3,149-$3,699
Cat 8 = $2,649-$3,249
Cat 9 = $2,199-$2,999
Cat 10 = $1,869-$2,499
Cat 11 = $1,699-$2,399
Cat 12 = $1,599-$2,299

Under Age 3 = $329
Ages 3 - 12 = $999-$2,699
Ages 13+ = $1,099-$2,699

If you take ours, Cat 9, it would be $5,397 before taxes, which I from what I could tell were around $163.

I did see our price with the Onboard Booking Discount, with taxes and no insurance or transfers, was $5,199.72.

I'll try to find that exact price on the Cat 7 and also to see if I wrote down the Cat 8 price.

Wow, thanks for the info Jeff! I don't think we could afford more than a cat 9. For 2 weeks, I would need a window

Thanks Mike :grouphug: It's amazing how much our baby has changed in the less than 2 years since that cruise :cutie: You actually have both weekend birthday boys in that picture, Chris' (Morsel) birthday was Sat. and you were right about Al's having been on Sun.

I missed those bdays :sad2:

Happy Birthday to Al and Chris!!! :bday:party::cake:

For those of you looking for repo pricing, I went through my first stack of papers, but I didn't find anything other than the ressie we traveled on. I know I have the original "dummy" reservation that I wrote all the pricing on. I just have to find it. That sheet should have the Cat 7 quote, along with the Cat 8 pricing and maybe even Cat 6 pricing.

I think if you use the chart I posted earlier, add about $150+ in taxes, and figure slightly under 10% for an onboard discount, if you can get one, you should be in the ball park for Tier 1 pricing. The credit isn't a true 10% because of fees and other taxes.

As for OB Discounts, you may not be able to wait until the BOB to get a dummy date. If they release when they did for 2010, it will be before we sail in October.

Everything I read about it, seems to point to November for the booking, I hope it stays that way :scared:

I love working out on Tuesday nights, watching Biggest Loser gives me that extra little boost :yay::thumbsup2

Well I am still here everyone. They changed our ours, so now we start at five pm, instead of three pm. However, we were just about finished, and one of my employees sliced their hand open. It turned into an uncontrollable bleed, so my vehicle turned into an ambulance. Now I have been sitting at the clinic for over an hour and a half, well after I went home to get my computer. So I guess I will do some quotes that I have written down.

Good morning everyone...I trust all is well in your various locations. It was a good night last night on the thread. I have been kicking around saying something and almost did last night, so here goes.

I have been booked on this cruise now since August 2008, and I want to say that I have felt very welcome getting to know everyone these last 7-8 months. Sure there are occasional times(very rare) when I do feel like an outsider, but that is to be expected since I was not on KK1, and haven't met any of you face to face.

On my last DCL cruise. I did post on the cruise meet thread but there was no formal introductions, no pictures shared, and no awesome Cass to build a "Who's Going" website! :lmao: That thread was not really active. All that was said was, "meet by the pool at 3:00 on sailaway day. Well there were a few decent size groups by the pool that day, but I didn't dare go to each one and say, "are you a DISer???? Incidentally, I didn't meet any DISers on my last cruise which is a shame!

For this cruise that will not be the case. I feel like I really know a lot of you already and am looking forward to the DIS meet by the pool at the Radission, then in the terminal on Sailaway day. You all know what I look like, I know what you look like so it will almost be like a family reunion of sort.

So...I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for welcoming me into this group. It is going to be a new experience for me spending a vacation with not only family but 30 or so friends that I have been talking to for a year prior to sailing. That is going to make this a real special vacation! :goodvibes

Sorry to get sentimental, but I just wanted to share that with all of you!

I'm looking forward to the next several months of planning and getting to know more of all of you! :goodvibes:grouphug:

I could not agree with you more Chris. I am the same way. As a first time cruiser, I have learned so much, and I can not wait!!

Phew!! I'm finally caught up. I hadn't been on since Friday afternoon so I was about 40 pages behind! Every once in awhile I'd stop and post. Now that I'm on page 76 it looks like no one else is here! Oh well, must go do some stuff anyway. Will check back later.

NK

I would have been happy to only been forty pages behind. When I started reading on Saturday to get caught up, I was still on page 34. I had almost 100 pages. I am such a procrastinator.

Oh wow, that's quite a bit more expensive :scared1: Hmm perhaps a cat 9 would be nice :goodvibes

Speaking of the gent, I haven't seen him on here since he got that special package delivered by Cheryl and Al :rolleyes1

"Care for them outside but protect at all costs then from within".....PS....Would you want Cheryl coming after you?...:rolleyes1

Chris is getting her to see as much as possible  She is having a great time! She says it is very pretty and it is the coolest place she has ever been! She even ate some fish yesterday and she told me it was OK and she usually doesn't eat fish. She now says she wants to move to England. Today I got home from work too late for her to call with the time difference, but tomorrow I am able to get out of work early so I am hoping she will be able to call me again and let me know what she thought of London. It is very strange and quiet around here with her gone.

I think thier having a great time.....:rolleyes1

PS....Cass am "told" were looking in the Wonder "Repo" cruise too....:rolleyes1

I just wanted to tell you I thought I had a "DAWG" sighting on my way home yesterday. But as I got a little closer I saw that there was a "D" missing between the words...........

So, forgive me for my ignorance, but the Wonder is travelling from Florida to LA via the panama canal in 2011? Is it bookable now?

What ship is taking her place? Will it do the same itinary as the Wonder currently does? 3-4 days?

I'm sure I can find all this info somewhere if I looked, but I know someone on here will have the details:rolleyes1...just call me lazy:rolleyes1

Hiya Karen

I don't think we can book that cruise just yet Karen. Not until late October or early November. I don't know the answer to your other question though and you're right, someone much smarter than me will have the answer for sure. Are you thinking of booking that cruise too? Chuck and I are thinking about it but there are way too many obstacles in the way for us right now. We'll probably still book it but whether we are on it or not remains to be seen.:confused3

BTW>>>what is a bacon buttie again?

Good morning everyone. It is our last day in New York. We were originally supposed to stay until tomorrow, but I have a one day conference to go to in suburban NYC tomorrow. I have to wake up around 4:00 AM, drive 130 miles through traffic to get there for 8:30. The day ends at 4, then I have to drive 130 miles home in traffic. That Tappan Zee Bridge can be a nightmare during the rush!:scared1:

The next morning I wake up to turn around and go the the Bronx for a Yankee day game. I will be driving on the same highways that I drove 15 or so hours before. The gates open at 10 and we want to be there to wander the new stadium. I am hoping my dad will drive, but he usually prefers having me drive to the stadium since I know all of the various ways to get there and back. I then have Saturday "off" before heading to Pennsylvania on Sunday by myself to visit my grandparents for a few days. It will be a busy week or so!

I've just joined facebook... how do I look you up?
The best bet is to do an email check. To check for a specific name turns up pages of results. I am a FB fiend. I spend a lot of time on there. I just joined Twitter too! :thumbsup2

Please take pictures!!
Oh I will, and I will post some on here.

GOOD MORNING EVERYBODY

Good Morning Chris

Hey my Red Sox and your Yankees are off to a slow start.
My two oldest sons and myself went to a Sea Dog game Monday night. It was quit chilly but we had fun.

Dan

Cat 11, sideways cabin. Wouldn't have anything else now.

Kristin and Jesse had a sideways on the KK cruise. This time Tony and Stacy got one too because they just loved K&J's. All 4 kids have the sideways now. :thumbsup2
