Hmmm, who is this Chirs guy??? :confused3 :lmao:

" A Fat English Gent = Chirs and Hazel and their 3 kids. England."

I heard he has to change his name to "A REALLY Fat English Gent". :lmao:

I'm so winning our bet.

Er i suspect you've rarely missed a meal time yourself Fatty....:snooty:

I was a little confused too. Do you think he is that HOT sweet man that cruised with us in 07? :confused3;)

Yes,and theirs 25% more of me.....:rolleyes1

What's the bet? Can you share any info?

No, I didn't read the book. Was it better than the movie, like usual? I'm guessing since you are watching it for the third time, you liked the movie? :rolleyes1

I dunno....I have a feeling that the fat gent may give you a run for your money ;)

Cass love save your cash ...:sad2:

You mean Mila.

And for the record, I asked him yesterday if he golfed (seeing if we should go when he comes in) and he said only if we got a "buggy". He won't walk the course. But, we can have a DIS workout challenge on the BOB if you guys want. :rotfl:

Oh the girl of my dreams.....She poured the perfect can of Boddingtons.....:rolleyes1

Aren't they??? Especially good ones :lmao: I am reading Dawn's report and it's awesome! (punkin413) Hard to tear myself away :sad2:

Oooh Vegas....where ya staying???

Is that a cruise TR Cass? If so, I'm so there. I love good cruise trippies. :thumbsup2

Nancy that looks wonderful! I hope Chuck can get the time off and you can go!!!:wizard: We spent a week at a condo in Daytona Beach in June a few years ago and it was hot and humid "in land" but when we stayed near the beach those sea breezes made it very pleasant so hopefully if you stick to keeping near the ocean your tummy will be fine.

Yes, it is much nicer on the beach but do you really think I'd spend a week in Florida and not hit up the parks every day? :rotfl2: When we went there in 05 we did a park 4 times out of the 6 nights we were there. It's a long trip to and from Orlando every day but with free accomodations, it was well worth it. :cool1:

Good morning peeps:goodvibes

Took me ages to catch up - well done:thumbsup2:rotfl:

Up early again today,.... my body obviously doesnt realize I'm on holiday:rolleyes:

I suggested to Ellis just that we make paper boats, have a big walk through the park and then play pooh sticks in the stream in the park.... he replied.... "can we play playstation instead?...kids eh!:rotfl:

Pooh Sticks? I sure hope this doesn't have anything to do with cleaning up after someone's poochie. :confused3:rotfl2:

Oh MG, I put those croutons, you were talking about, in my salad at Ruby Tuesday last evening, there are good.........:goodvibes

Were'nt they to die for Andy? I hope you got some fresh ones when you went. :wizard:

When I was at the salad bar the container with the croutons was nearly empty. Some of the croutons were soft, while other were a bit hard, they still tasted very good though. I will be getting them again, that's for sure!!! I was also able to order my crab cake for dinner, I was on :cloud9:

Ice, rain, sleet and snow predicted here. :guilty:

Off to the mall for a one hour walk around in inside comfort. :)

We are expecting some of your weather this coming Tuesday, not looking forward to it either.........:headache::mad::headache:

Have a nice walk in the mall, we are going to our mall this afternoon as well.........;)

Good morning everyone...I trust all is well in your various locations. It was a good night last night on the thread. I have been kicking around saying something and almost did last night, so here goes.

I have been booked on this cruise now since August 2008, and I want to say that I have felt very welcome getting to know everyone these last 7-8 months. Sure there are occasional times(very rare) when I do feel like an outsider, but that is to be expected since I was not on KK1, and haven't met any of you face to face.

On my last DCL cruise. I did post on the cruise meet thread but there was no formal introductions, no pictures shared, and no awesome Cass to build a "Who's Going" website! :lmao: That thread was not really active. All that was said was, "meet by the pool at 3:00 on sailaway day. Well there were a few decent size groups by the pool that day, but I didn't dare go to each one and say, "are you a DISer???? Incidentally, I didn't meet any DISers on my last cruise which is a shame!

For this cruise that will not be the case. I feel like I really know a lot of you already and am looking forward to the DIS meet by the pool at the Radission, then in the terminal on Sailaway day. You all know what I look like, I know what you look like so it will almost be like a family reunion of sort.

So...I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for welcoming me into this group. It is going to be a new experience for me spending a vacation with not only family but 30 or so friends that I have been talking to for a year prior to sailing. That is going to make this a real special vacation! :goodvibes

Sorry to get sentimental, but I just wanted to share that with all of you!

I'm looking forward to the next several months of planning and getting to know more of all of you! :goodvibes:grouphug:

Trip reports can be very addicting ;) I'm glad to see you still have the link to your Vegas one in your signature, I want to re-read that one before we go in June!
Yeah it is! I have days where I just keep reading trip reports after trip reports. One day I read a few about your KK1. It made me look forward to this cruise all the more.

Very well said. I too am excited to meet every one, We have been on a few cruises with active disers and non active ones. The chatty ones are fun, it's nice to see faces you know. My DH is a sleeper, so I would walk in the am and then got to topsiders, I always found a friendly face to sit with. On the last cruise I even had a walking buddy, Even the kids can make dis friends, my ds # 2 still keeps in touch with kids he met in 2002!

We will be in Fairfax Virginia at the Hilton Garden Inn from May 23-25th.
We will be riding in the parade on the 25th. Is anyone available during those dates. diane

How much of the blueridge parkway are you riding? We live just a few miles off the mountain on skyline drive.

Hey everyone.

Cass Lovin the Pics.....more please. Oh and welcome back we sure did miss ya.

Well folks we got Sean's results for his Sgt's test today. He placed 18th out of 36. He thinks he will be promote within the next year or so. I am very very proud of him.

I think the way Chris expressed himself is the same way Nancy a I feel.
Very well done.
And as you said Joanne the past few cruises we have been on before we have meet some very nice people and have become close friends with others.
Nancy and I realize not verybody on the upcoming BOB will be DVC Members . I will admit it will be different because thats all we have been on. It will be different to be on a cruise where you arn't talking or seeing DVC all week. Don't take me wrong we both love DVC and its a great family and great people.

Dan

We always go on Saturday night unless I'm ushering on Sunday (which I have to do the two Sundays after Easter - I had Easter last year). Although, Suz always wants to do sunrise service on Easter, so we won't be going next Saturday night either.

We are Saturday nighters too, but not next week the Easter Vigil is three hours. If the choir has enough bodies I will skip.
