Question of the Day (Thanks Kathy)

What's your favorite table service restaurant?

Well, we don't usually sit to have a meal unless it is a character meal. The only ones we've done without characters were Blue Bayou (DL), Carnation (DL), Restaurant Marrakesh (Morocco), San Angel Inn (Mexico), Chefs de France, Whispering Canyon Cafe (Wilderness).

So, seeing that everything else was character, I would say my favorit of the character meals was Liberty Tree Tavern (which I thought I read they stopped doing the characters there).

As for the ones listed abouve, I think Whispering Canyon was one I would definitely return to.

Well I just did the "preliminary" clearing of our driveway. I didn't move the cars yet, but just did around them. We are expecting between 3-6 more inches throughout the day, so I am sure that I will go back out later this afternoon for a more thorough clearing.

What's the total for the storm up by you Chris? I just saw that down by the airport here they may get as much as 15", from a lake effect storm. :scared1:

a little bummed out this morning. it looks like we are going to have to change this cruising date to something in Jan or Feb. We sailed this past Feb and received a coupon for the $99 per person bounce back offer (3 day cruise), so we are thinking of taking all our kids in late Aug or Sept, depending on schooling and such. So cruising again in Oct would put a strain on the bank accounts, plus my wife might not get that much time off work. we are still mulling it over..............
Plus, the F-I-L wants to send the M-I-L and my wifes sister on a cruise in Feb/Mar and is willing to pay our way for a 4 night cruise, so we have to really watch the bank accounts and stretch them as much as possible. With one kid in college and another starting in Sept, this is going to be tough.

 Take it easy Cass:hug: hope you feel better soon:hug:

Thanks Karen  Thought I was doing better but I woke up this morning with a bad cough and my lungs are burning now :guilty:

I hope you have a better week :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Question of the Day (Thanks Kathy)

What's your favorite table service restaurant?

My answer: Polynesian Luau. (or Pirate Night on DCL in Parrot Cay);)

I would have to say...for service...50's Prime Time Cafe when you get a good waiter and for food...Le Cellier...love their filet and cheddar cheese soup! ::yes::

Lori, great pics of Tanya & family, too bad they won't be joining us on BOB.

Welcome home to Mike & Robin, can't wait to see some pics :cool1:

That's too bad :guilty: There's been a lot of BOBers that have canceled in the past few months...another one bites the dust :sad1: Drop by and let us know how your cruises turn out :thumbsup2

Lori, great pics of Tanya's trip t WDW. Still a bummer they won't be joining us.

How was your weekend by the way?

I wish they were joining us. But I understand why they can't.
Our weekend was great. I actually have a snow day today. I was on the way with Harrison to the babysitters this morning and Scott called and said that the manager just called and they closed the cancer center today. That is very rare. But I am enjoying the time with the kiddos.:thumbsup2

Ooops, didn't mean to jump the gun :rolleyes1 In that case then....don't cancel...we need to keep up the Canadian count on this cruise :cool1: :thumbsup2

Lori, nice pics. Thanks for sharing.

We didn't get anywhere near the amount of snow they said, even though everything is pretty much shut down. If you look at the weather map, the storm sort of broke apart, in the middle, and never really got that Nor'easter rotation going. They said there was another round headed to us, but so far, nothing and it doesn't look like much on the map.

Cinderella's Royal Table....

Of course it was over 10 years ago, but DH and I had a wonderful meal there.

For anyone who is interested, I just posted the Epcot chapter of our trip report.

Hey Chris - there are some nice shots from the pilot's cabin of the monorail, if you are interested.

Hi all....

I'm really still here, even though I don't seem to post a lot. ;)

I have another cruise question....

Since Brenda (the organizer of the Tiara Tarts) is no longer cruising with us     is anyone still planning to wear a tiara for formal night?

With two in college as of this year, I can certainly understand! I know it is a lot to consider. Here's hoping you make the best decision and the mulling it over doesn't cause too much stress!

Get better! That is how Mack started. I do love the 50's Prime Time Cafe too! It has been a while since we went there, but I do love it!

Loving your trip report - off to read this chapter!

A question for those of you who are staying at the Radisson....

Are any of you leaving your vehicle there for the week while we cruise?

I don't know about you Kathy, but we have about 8"-10" on the ground right now and it's still coming down. Looks like we might get punch #3 as a new system just developed near Washington DC and could be heading our way. I know it could have been worse, but it is horrible out there, whether you are walking or driving.

It took me 2.5 hours to get done this morning what usually takes me about 1 hour to do. The area of meters that I am reading today are all on the outside walls of the residents homes, meaning I am walking through mounds and mounds of snow in places, not to mention snow drifts as well.

I came home for lunch totally exhausted and my day is only half over. I am so ready to get to Florida!!!

If we drive down, yes we will leave our car at the Radisson.

If we rent a car, we will turn it in and get another rental car after the cruise.
