That's good news for now at least Jen I too am having a hard time not worrying about Al's job and how much longer he may have it. He is off the rest of the week. Hopefully the next house they will be working on will be ready on Mon.

What dates is that offer for? Are they limiting it or is it anytime in 2009?

I know when we were there last February, the "bounceback" was mainly during down times and ended by October.

I too may look at a different property, although, Disney has shifted October from Value to Regular season, so I may use it to get back to "Value" prices on the resort.

That sounds like a great deal! I think with that, I would have to upgrade from a value to a moderate or deluxe.

My bad, I succumbed to the advertising ploy reading only the large print and not really paying attn. I revisited the flyer in the room and found that the dates were indeed restricted. well, it's back to the Raddisson unless Disney entices me further.

I've heard some DIS groups doing a PJ Breakfast Meet on the ship, anyone have any interest in that???

So on my way to work this morning I stopped at the grocery store. This sweet little lady ran up to me and asked if I watch American Idol. When I told her yes, she told me she was Danny Goeke's grandma!! Danny, who is from Milwaukee, made it into the final 36 last night and he's the guy that lost his wife 1 month before try-outs. He competed with his best friend Jamar, also from Milwaukee (don't know his last name) who did not make it through to the final 36.

That sweet little thing was sooooo excited and was telling anyone who would listen.

I was really pulling for Danny, I'm glad he made it to the top 36. If I'm not mistaken, he will be singing next Tuesday as part of the first 12 to perform.

When i came home from work, i found him passed out in front of the computer
(with a smile on his face). Seems he was looking at that picture of the pillow fight that Cass posted, and it was too much for his heart.
We have a team of surgeons from Cleveland lined up to check him out.

We have almost 300 Disney Reward Dollars in our account as well, going to keep collecting them for the next couple of months, then will apply them to the cruise balance as well!!!

Apparantly my child only participates in class if something interests him. Otherwise he does the bare minimum ...... like I dont know that already

We've just had a "sit down" type chat... I doubt if it will do any good... he's as stubborn as a mule (no idea where he gets that from!)

Hazel and I went to see WALL*E on the Magic last September, after about 20 minutes we left as we couldn't stay awake, and that was in the Buena Vista Theatre where is was freezing........

Why do they keep that theatre so cold. I always have to take a sweater in there no matter what time of day it is.

I loved WALL-E. I thought Bolt was ok but i will buy it when it comes out just because of the Hamster.

Anyone else watching Battlestar Galatica?

I don't watch it, but caught a glimpse of one of the Actors. Vice President Zarek is played by Richard Hatch. I said to Rick that I was sure that he was in the original series.

After a bit of searching Wiki came up trumps. Yes he had previously portrayed Captain Apollo, a character on the original Battlestar Galactica series of the late 1970s.

Yup, he was the original Apollo. I don't like that he's a jerk in the new show

I just found out my nephew Charlie is in the ER with a 105* fever, the poor little guy. Marina said his sister had a 104* fever ealier in the week. So much sickness going around........
