Ok, I did some experimenting tonight...

The last time we had shake and bake chicken, Elaine and I looked at each other and our thoughts were linked for an instant, "this sucks" our glances seem to communicate with the other. The type of shake and bake we had just didn't do it for us.

So tonight, I made my own glaze to put over the chicken. I combined Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce and applesauce and made my own glaze. In about 20 minutes, we will see how this experiment works out.

Sounds really yummy!!!! I might have to try that.

Just a little surgery update and I won't bore you with the details, but biopsies were taken and I won't know the results for 10 days!! Thanks for all your well wishes. I'll hang onto them for the next 10 days. You guys are the best!!!

I haven't been on the board much this week so this is the first I knew about your surgery. Here's hoping all is well. Maybe you'll get results sooner than 10 days & they'll be good.

People on the board have been well aware of Marys peril. It was discussed when we first heard about it a couple of weeks ago.
We who know Mary hope and pray for a full recovery.
I think most people understand and have been through with a friend or family member. I know I lost my MOM to it.
As I said our thoughs and prayers are with Mary and Mark

Not everyone has the chance to read all of the posts every day and considering Bernie is a newbie not only to this thread but to the DIS, she has no idea who Mary is and that she is going through a terrible time.

I do know Mary, I have been on these boards for 12 years now and know her and her husband Mark very well from all their help and advice and posts over years, however, although I knew she was going through a tough time, I didn't know exactly what she was going through until I read your last post with the update.

Lots of prayers and going out the Mary and her family during this very tough time.

my older brother and his wife have been wanting to cruise with Robin and i for a while now. we tried to talk them into joining us on the bob cruise but they said 2010 would be better for them.

the reason i'm telling you this is because their names are...

i guess the bob cruise will have to make do with one danandnan.

It's not too late - I believe there's still room on the boat for them to join us so we can meet another dan and nancy.

thats me too cass. i make dinner almost every nite before robin gets home. but i'm a plain meat and potatoes guy and not very creative kitchenwise.
poor robin ends up with the same boring stuff all the time.
