Just be careful not to have an accident in your pants when you squat.....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:lmao: :scared1:

That works too..lol actually it is amazing how much you can do.. with incentive..lol but I saw pics of you missy.. nothing to hide there.. hot mama!:thumbsup2

Hows the toe btw?

The toes much better thanks:hug: - only hurts now when I put on tight boots andsquash it next to the other one:headache:

I guess seeing as how all of you have done the cruise so many times the magic is lost in the pirate night :sad1: I will take any excuse to dress up.. I am just as crazy at holloween lol everywhere I have ever worked I make sure we have a party and everyone dress's up..lol

Inside I am a big kid, I figure life is just too short to waste opportunities to be crazy..lol

We would dress up more but its the room it takes up and the weight.

I used one of those Space Bags for my costume and it worked very well - only took up a little bit of space.

Did it not all come out creased though? - I've never tried those bags for clothes.

And about those money trees....it's winter here. No money until spring and then they only grow in Jeff's yard.;)

I think you need a secret mission to stealthily creep :tiptoe: into Number Boys garden at 2am and strip his trees bare;)

For the first time in 30 years that I have been working for the township, the word possible "Layoffs" were mentioned today at our Public Works meeting that we had this afternoon at 3pm.

Some positions that recently became vacant, due to retirement, will not be filled. Other concessions were also mentioned, but we won't know more for another week or so. A lot seems to be up in the air right now.

If the township offered an early buy-out, I might be interested in that, since I am only 15 months away of being eligible for full retirement benefits.

Good luck Andy - I hope it worksd out for you. They paid up two guys from neils place today - both a couple of years away from retirement. Its a scary time for everybody... very few jobs are safe at the moment:sad2:

Well, the wait is over - he's kept his job:yay:

He got a call this morning - asking him to do overtime:eek: - his shift was meant to start at 2pm today - he's just gone now 3 1/2 hours overtime. I dont get it:confused3 ... but I'm not complaining:rolleyes1

:thumbsup2 :yay:

Well, I got 8102 steps in today and did well with my food. I only had 1 teeny slice of cake when I visited my friend this evening - she wouldnt take no for an answer:rolleyes: so I'll call today a success:thumbsup2 .

Tomorrows another day:rolleyes1

Anybody know if the ADR window is now 90 days instead of 180 days? This is for WDW.....I'm just verifying what the cast member told me today.

Edited: Nevermind, I found my answer.

Did it not all come out creased though? - I've never tried those bags for clothes.

No, not too bad. I just made sure I hung it up right as soon as we got on board. :laundy: Most of the wrinkles came out of the blouse part on their own. The skirt part is fake crushed velvet so it came out fine. I don't know how those bags would work on regular clothes though.

And the answer was???

Iron,... squat,... iron,... stretch,... iron... squat...:lmao:

The neighbours already think I'm mad as it is:rotfl2:

 I could always jog upstairs with every garment I iron one garment at a time I suppose

Now that's not such a bad idea. In fact I did some lunges while I was vacuuming today. One has to be creative!!! I also took a nice walk on the college campus with a friend. It was cold but I was nice and toasty with my long johns!

Off to lunch...

I am taking Elaine to the new Chinese Buffet. We have been wanting to try it out.

The no contact food rule will be in effect!

I'm thinking that rule might be a good diet plan - if the food can't touch you can't get as much on the plate can you?

:lmao: :scared1:

One perk of retirement is that you can't get laid off! And so far there's still a need for substitute teachers.

Two things I have on my side are: (1) I'm the only regular meter reader and (2)my years of seniority with the township. Out of about 50 Public Works employees, I think I am #5 in line with the most years of service. In the water department I am #2 in line with the most years of service, we have 9 people in our department. I feel comfortable, but I'm not taking anything for granted either.

wow that would be nice.. mind you people are usually bored when used to being busy...:surfweb: :thumbsup2

Have Kamy or Steve done any posting yet. If so haven't seen it.

Dan

Hey Dan - To my knowledge they have not posted yet. They are planning on going though. I know we will all want our dining linked.

So it seems everyone has had a fairly good day - Congrats to Niel that he still has his job, Karen. I guess I didn't realize things were that bad in England.

Andy - I hope your job stays put. I know it is hard for everyone right now. Even as a teacher, my job is not totally secure - especially at a private school. Although parents want to provide well for their children, that is something they will drop when money gets tight. Hang in there, everyone!

So the girls are planning a little verandah party.:flower3:
I hope they bring their pillows.:grouphug: :cheer2:

Let's hope your seniority pays off for you should the layoffs actually come to fruition.

I saw the meter reader from our utility company on Saturday and thought of you Andy.

LOL no but now he is gonna keep an eye on you! :lmao:

hope its the eye with the pirate patch on it.:rolleyes1

You'd be more than welcome to my lbs:lmao: - I have a good 50 to spare. I collect them around my stomach :rotfl2:
:lmao: :rotfl2:
no thanks. i've got 10 of my own to lose.:headache:

Paige,Rumour has it Big Red is prepared to keep him as her play thing as long as he brings his side arm and dress hat with him after his Retirement.....:rolleyes1

Even though she's cheap, she still costs too much......Besides, I'm his sidearm.;)

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Paige "discussing" with Big Red.....popcorn::

You tell him, Paige!

Say, did you hear we girls are having a little party for Big Red in my cabin? ;) Did I mention that my cabin has direct access to the ocean??? Sure, there's a little railing in the way, but that shouldn't be a problem. :rolleyes1 We just need to 'lean' her over the rail a bit and gravity should do the rest! :lmao:

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:
Red is at a party in a cabin with all chics??:woohoo: :woohoo:
If there are pillows involved, i'm selling tickets to this show.:woohoo: :cloud9:

Champagne for sure Leisha. :yay: How about a few strawberry smoothies too. It'll make for a good picture for the Dawg. Picture it....at least 10 woman sipping strawberry smoothies, laughing hysterically, and dangling Ugly Red over the railing. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

you had me hooked till the ending.:sad2: :sad1:
