With any luck from Mother Nature and we have a slow thaw it melts slowly into the ground then when it warms enough you put down your Spring fertilizer. Together with a warm Spring sun the grass should get nice and green.

If we don't get rain soon we will probably be in a drought this summer, which means we will only get to water on certain days.

That's it.....rub it in Send us some of that warm stuff.

I made a sprite zero cake without the egg whites. We will be putting those in next time. We put the egg whites in the diet coke a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't as crumby as this one is. Now I just have to remind my family that it isn't fat free, Sean almost ate the whole cake last time.

Rain....you want rain. You could've had ours from last night/this morning. We had torrential rain and got soaked getting in the car this morning.

Yes, Heather, it is a National Holiday - no mail and the banks are closed. Not every company gives their employees off, but MINE DOES!!!

I don't know how much work we are going to get done tomorrow - it's Inauguration Day! Our cafeteria has big flat panel TVs and I'm sure we're all going to be sneaking down there to watch the festivities

I just made a Pillsbury 50% Less Sugar (they use Splenda) devils food cake with diet root beer. I used 2 egg whites, per Jen, and it came out great! I also made the Dream Whip icing with Jello FF/SF pudding. That came out excellent too!

They are good, maybe make one for his birthday? I did figure out that it is 4 pts a slice, thats a 13x9 cut into 12 slices. I don't put frosting on it. Although I was telling Sean that pineapple would be good in the yellow cake. Wonder how many more pts that would make it.
