Happy Monday! We have an inch of snow on the ground and the city has gone crazy. The dogs did not want to go out this morning. It took me forever to get into work today. Tommy is headed to South Biloit, IL for a week to the main factory for his annual managers meeting. It is so quiet in the office today, I think I may have to try and sneak out a little early. Is it October yet?

Ok another silly question from someone who doesn't get snow.
How does all that snow not kill your lawns? We get a really good frost and ours turns yellow.

Arizona was good - and Disneyland was awesome! We all had a great time....

It has been absolutely gorgeous here. People were actually wearing capris yesterday. I wore a short sleeve shirt and jeans when we went out yesterday. We are however supposed to get rain by the end of the week

All of the grass turns brown during winter and stops growing. In the spring it turns green again and resumes growing. I guess it is one of the miracles of nature. Scotts Turfbuilder does help as well!

I did notice in Maine that sometimes our grass did take more of a beating after a particularly bad winter. In Maine typically, you get snow in December and you don't see grass until April.

I just returned from the gym and feel great. It's amazing how the body feels after being consistent and regular with working out. I feel myself improving!

Oh Becky!! Don't rub it in! I wish Mother Nature would make up her mind. Just last week we were in the 50's and now it is in the 30's! No wonder I can't get rid of this darn flu!!

I hear ya Shelley We have gorgeous weather right now because of our Chinook (warm wind from the mountains) but next week we are back down to -25C

That wasn't from today. I took that a few years ago when I lived in Maine. Connecticut would freak if we got that much!

Sorry, I should have paid more attention. I also didn't realize that CT didn't get that much snow. You look about as "North" as Wisconsin does.

Next week at this time I will be taking a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist exam. Want to trade? I will be there in spirit! Eat a Mickey bar for me!

I know - he's getting so big! He turns 6 in February and I have no idea where the time went!

By the way - he wants to have a Mickey Mouse theme for his B-day party...so I have to start planning that!

I know - just a few more months! I can't wait to see all my cruise friends...old and new!
