I just returned from the gym and feel great. It's amazing how the body feels after being consistent and regular with working out. I feel myself improving!

I'm too sore to realize that I feel better. :rotfl2:

Mel, I just made a stop over on your TR. Great job on it. I love the part about the "silent cheers". I could picture it. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'm glad they found your laptop back so quickly too. :thumbsup2

But, all those great pictures and only a 1/2 of a picture of our BOBer? :guilty:
C'mon, you have to do better than that. :goodvibes :flower3:

Ok another silly question from someone who doesn't get snow.
How does all that snow not kill your lawns? We get a really good frost and ours turns yellow.
Gorgeous pics though.

With any luck from Mother Nature and we have a slow thaw it melts slowly into the ground then when it warms enough you put down your Spring fertilizer. Together with a warm Spring sun the grass should get nice and green.

Sorry, I should have paid more attention. :upsidedow I also didn't realize that CT didn't get that much snow. You look about as "North" as Wisconsin does. :goodvibes
The ocean has a major effect on our weather. If the storm tracks a certain way, the wind blows off the ocean and we get rain or ice. It is stays to the south, we typically get snow. I think I heard that the ocean temperatures are right around 40 degrees. That keeps the coastal towns warm during the winter and cooler in the summer.

Next week at this time I will be taking a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist exam. Want to trade?:flower3: I will be there in spirit! Eat a Mickey bar for me!

Nope! :lmao: Good luck Leisha! Thanks for giving me an excuse to have a Mickey bar (as if I needed one!) :mickeybar

You go, Girl! Have a Dole Whip for me and say hi to Donald for Mack please.

Dole Whip on Monday, which is our MK day! :thumbsup2 Donald is my Dad's favorite too! :donald:

You lucky thing:cool1:

Yes, lucky my big bro keeps buying DVC points! ;)

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: And then pictures will follow shortly I presume? :thumbsup2

You betcha, fur sure! :thumbsup2 I am taking Mr. MacBook along, so I'll try to post some pictures along the way!

A tuna pie ??? :crazy2: I'm hoping this is one of those UK'isms that I don't understand. :rotfl:

I was thinking the same thing! :rotfl:

I've been busy today- I have just split our 100's of cd's into mine, his and ours piles then alphabetized them:crazy2: - we can NEVER find a cd, so this should make it easier. I'm up to 6500steps so far so doing ok:thumbsup2 - I'll hit my 8000 target today.

All I've had to eat is my 2 slimfast smoothies. Dinner tonight is spicy chicken, rice, peas and sweetcorn.

Hows everyone else doing?

Karen..nothing better to do???:thumbsup2 We had a sort of mexican meal tonight...Stir fry chicken and lots of veg with 1 tortilla for me and 3 for Rick.

Hi ya everyone! I promised a certain goose :thumbsup2 that I would stop in and let everyone know I am alive. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! I will try and stop in more often. Stay warm out there!

Hiya Shelley...good to hear from you.:flower3:

We are having Jen Mouse's crock pot chicken with baked potatoes for dinner tonight. The chicken smells so good already and it's not quite 2:30 in the afternoon.

We've also had a light sn*w coming down since around 10am.............:sad2:

Wow...thats a lot of snow.

It has been absolutely gorgeous here. People were actually wearing capris yesterday. I wore a short sleeve shirt and jeans when we went out yesterday. We are however supposed to get rain by the end of the week :cool1:

That's it.....rub it in:thumbsup2 Send us some of that warm stuff.

Oh Becky!! :sad2: Don't rub it in!;) I wish Mother Nature would make up her mind. Just last week we were in the 50's and now it is in the 30's! No wonder I can't get rid of this darn flu!!

Same here Shelley....had this lingering cold since before xmas.

Leisha,

My husband works in South Beloit...may I ask what company?

Jen

As Walt said it is a small world. :wave2: Taylor. They make ice cream and resturant equipment. He has worked for the Taylor distributor for about 28 years. He makes the trip every January. What is the weather like up there. He is driving and said he was about 3 1/2 hours away.

Hey Jeff & Chris....

You guys must be getting ready for Mexico eh???? When is the big day????

Looking forward to this I guess :beach: :sunny:

Thought they had already left, they've been so quiet.
