Good morning Heather, Andy, Mel, Mimi, Dan, Joanne, Karen and Mike!

Woke up to some new snow. So far, only about an inch but we might be getting some more later.

:cheer2: I'm still waiting for mine....mind you it does have to come all the way to the UK.

It just arrived on Sat, so hopefully yours will be there soon. Are you going to put yours on a t-shirt?

My goodness you were up late last night, Kathy.

Not too, 11ish, I checked the thread before I went to bed and couldn't believe that the page hadn't move in 3 hours!

Good morning peeps:goodvibes

I did good last night - chose healthily for my dinner and had only 1 1/2 glasses of wine - the rest of the time I drank water::yes::

I made raisin mickey waffles thid morning but only had two little heads - no syrup:rolleyes2

Wow, Karen, good for you!!! :yay:

Why did you have to spoil those lovely waffles with raisins? Blech!!! Then again, I am very good at performing raisin-ectomies.

Got on the scales this morning and got a pleasant surprise, I'm only 3/4 lb of my ww weight of 11st 9lbs:cool1: Mind you I do like to be below this and as Rick wants to lose a few lbs before May, we will be eating healthy and exercising.

That's fantastic Heather!

i think its standard procedure for anyone with a pacemaker or hip replacement. you cant go through the metal detectors so you have to get the dreaded "patdown".:scared: :scared:

My Mom just got a pacemaker last year so she has to go through that too. Although, she says everyone has been very nice so far. We also have to keep reminding her not to put her cell or cordless phone to the ear on the same side as the pacemaker.

what do you mean? i sprung for a cat 12 deck 2 this cruise.:lmao:
we only have to row every other day.:lmao:

Well, at least you don't have to worry about falling (or getting pushed) off your balcony! :rotfl2:

Hey Robin! Look at the front page of the Daily News today!

gal_frontpage_0117.jpg

Somehow, I pictured Robin's Sully a lot younger and more buffed........:scratchin

But I'm sure Dawg will enjoy viewing the photo of the other young lady on the cover, even if she doesn't have a red dress on......:rotfl:

:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

he looks nothing like me.

Yes, I just did, when are you flying out? We will be leaving Sunday?

Right now our thinking is to fly down on Thursday the 22nd, stay that night at SSR or OKW, then head to the Radisson on Friday. As for the return trip we plan to fly home on Monday Nov. 2 but we haven't actually booked our flights yet. (We're waiting for Jet Blue to open up for Oct. They have one direct flight out of Portland which I would prefer over one with a layover or driving to Boston.) If we're at AKV Sunday A.M. & want to have breakfast it would be too late for us to get a good flight out after that. It's just less hectic if we wait til Mon. After all, it's a long trip - might as well get the most we can out of it! Now that is not the short answer you were looking for was it?!!!!!!

It's a saying we use at work "Pull up your big boy/big girl panties and deal with it"

Had blood work done this morning. Had to wait about an 1 1/2 hours to get my turn, and this was a fasting blood draw. Would have been slower but this kid was throwing a fit over getting his done, he was in there at least 1/2 hour screaming. Can't blame him though he did tell his mom he was going to do that.:sad2: After he was done it was my turn and the lab girls were saying that the mom had stated it took 2 hours for the kid to get his flu shot.:sad2: :sad2: There was a point where I looked at Sean and told him to just go in there and hold the kid down for them. He wouldn't do it.
So it's sit and wait for them to come back, nothing big, thyroid, cholesterol, diabetes. All that and they only took one tube.

:grouphug: :grouphug:
i know that vertigo is bad, and i feel bad for you becky, but i couldnt help but notice you felt well enough to "ZING" me yesterday.:lmao:
was that part of the docs orders??
:grouphug: :grouphug:
hope you feel better.

you'll have to ask my sweet polly. and shes got a huge paper due for school due today.:crazy2:
i dont want to know where his scar is.:scared:

Then you need to be a good Dawg. Bring her refreshments and keep the noise down.

I would be happy to look for the scar

I think we scared my big brother off the thread! He said he gave up - just doesn't have time to keep up.

So everybody needs to PM him and tell him the needs to post over here once in awhile. His screen name is Morht2. Bwhahahaha!

Good morning Karen and Andy. It's snowing here in Maine after a very cold week. Weather man says 8-14 inches of the white stuff.
Everybody have a great Sunday.

Dan

Hey Dan.......

We woke up to a very light dusting of sn*w this morning and might get a little more sn*w today. I saw some very black clouds headed our way on my way home from Riverwinds this morning........:sad2:

Well, at least we are past the halfway part of January, it will be February before we know it!!! ::yes::
