Kathy--I hope Florida warms up for you by the time you get there!!! :thumbsup2

Congratulations to Ellis for manning-up and hitting the big class! He's the dude with the tude! The others will show their fears and be seen covering their rears - each time he enters! Go Ellis!

Thanks - I'll pass on your congrats:goodvibes - he doesnt have much confidence in a lot of things, so today was quite a test for him. I could see the panic enter his face as soon as she told him he would be the only one, but he toughed it out and although he hasnt said so, I know he's chuffed with himself today. Go Ellis!:cheer2:

Yuck - I just heard about the 90 yr. old man and 79 yr. old wife who sailed on Carnival Paradise last Monday who were not on the ship when it returned to port. This report said their cabin door was double locked from the inside and the balcony door was unlocked. Their belongings were still inside and appeared untouched. Too freaky! They had a "Do not disturb" sign on the door - sounds like suicide - yuck.

How awful, but in another way how romantically sad.:sad2: Maybe the one was ill and the other couldnt face life without them. Its not a bad way to go together:sad1:

Well people, I've got to 5500 steps today. I'll get to 6500 by the end of the day so 1500 under target, but not too bad.

I weighed myself today and I've lost 3lb this week. :cheer2: - thats pretty darned good for me. It must be that trampoline... wearing the pedometer really helps me - it makes me keep moving when I dont want to:thumbsup2

Cheap but efficient:thumbsup2

hi jen mouse
if you had just the passport card and trip insurance would you be ok?
course i'm the kind of guy who wouldnt even get trip insurance if my sweet polly wouldnt insist on it.:love2:
i mean..what are the odds??:rolleyes2 :rotfl2:

Mike, the website states that those cards CANNOT be used for international air travel. So pull up your big boy panties and get the regular passport. I mean sure you are ok with kicking it in the caribbean, but what if god forbid your sweet polly got hurt and needed to fly home?

Hey Andy,
With all the walking you do in your job, have you ever measured your steps for a day? Just curious

thanks guys. i'd still rather get the card.(its cheaper):rolleyes2
i'm a "what are the odds" kind of guy.pirate:
but Robin wants to get the real passport for fear of my previous heart problems returning.
i figure if its "my time" then so be it. "it is what it is" .:rotfl2:
we'll probably get the real one since i already won one thing this decade.(no poochie)
unless theres others out there who can support me in my campain for the cheap passport card.:grouphug: (i'll buy the smoothies. even a blueberry one for a certain pancake girl):thumbsup2

The passport card is good for land and sea (not air) travel between the US and Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

However, you should check with your travel insurance company regarding the use of the passport card in a medical emergency. It does appear that flights required because of medical emergencies would be exempt from the passport book requirement:

the Western Hemisphere; Final Rule

Comment
Three commenters expressed concern about the passport requirement and
emergencies (medical, natural disasters) that might require air transport across a border.

Response
IRTPA provides for situations in which documentation requirements may be waived on a case-by-case basis for unforeseen emergencies or ‘‘humanitarian or national interest reasons.’’ See section 7209(c)(2) of IRTPA.

So you might owe me a blueberry smoothie.

Anyone tried crunchless abs? - I saw a tv commercial while we were in Florida and it looked quite good... I hate crunches:crazy2:

Yes, Paint Shop Pro...I can't get my head around it. I'll have to try photoshop. Rick took some lessons on the Alaskan Cruise and he enjoyed it.

I'm with you on the mashed potatoes...there to die for.

I used PSP many years ago...like I would say 15 years ago and I didn't like it. :crazy2: I would recommend Photoshop Elements, it's more user friendly and there are tons of books and tutorials you can take :thumbsup2

Here is a link with DSB tutorials...the ones with PSP at the end are for paint shop pro, hopefully that will help you ;)
