10/24/2009 Bash On the Boat (I'm with B.O.B.) - Thread #15

Hello everyone!

We have been very busy and dis-ing just wasn't in the stars for us. However... a trip to WDW was!

We drove to WDW on Thanksgiving day...straight through from Virginia! We did stop at Cracker Barrel for Thanksgiving dinner. It was very good. (Sorry, I didn't think of food pics until much later!)

We stayed at All Star Movies (in the Dalmation building!) for 3 nights then moved with Matthew's family members (cousin, sister, brother, sister-in-law) into the 3 bedroom Grand Villa at Old Key West until Friday. On the way back we stopped for the night at Hilton Head and watched dolphins swim in the morning while building a dolphin sand sculpture before heading home Saturday.

I logged on when I was using my favorites buttons and almost had to jump threads twice! Boy, have I been out of touch! I'll make sure Matthew posts some pictures from the trip later this week!

Oh... for any Figment fans out there... I got a tip from a cast member about a special holiday Figment plush coming in. We were able to grab a couple before we left! Limited edition and numbered. (Matthew considered another one for eBay but decided not to.)

mwhahahaha did it in 10 mins.. with help from a co worker..lol I was stumped after 9 mins so I asked for a fresh set of eye's.. he started to turn some lines and then BOOM it came to me! now if only i could be as efficient at work..LOL

Oh you cant tell me you've done it without showing us a photo of yourscreen online

That way I can copy it and pretend I'm clever too

I was rearranging the living room so that we can put up the tree when Manda gets home.

Today is the day for errands: grocery store, laundry, look for pants for work and pants to walk in outside. I like to exercise outdoors but without the proper clothing it is too cold (today's high 27 wind chill 11). Not easy to find when you are Pooh sized.

You are NOT Pooh sized, and your intelligence, sense of humor, looks, heart, and attitude far outweigh anything else - so just get the pants and walk so you feel great!!!!! You are an AMAZING woman!

With sadness I'm asking you to keep Heather and Rick in your thoughts and prayers. Heather's father passed away yesterday morning.

I am so sorry to hear that!

Seems how this is such a strong prayer group, I also ask that you keep my mother in your prayers. She went into the hospitol today not feeling well, and the hospitol is thinking she had a stroke. She well be kept overnight, and I will hopefully have more news tomorrow. Thank you everyone.

Kira is adorable making her snowman, and for me - sorry, but I would love to have snow like that! I miss a good snow!

I will try to get more posted tonight. The little one with Minnie is the make a wish child.

Disney and make a wish really do a nice job for these families. A few times I got teary and she is not even my child.

I believe all the prayers got her throught her illness, we thought she was not going to make it.

What precious pictures Joanne! Looks like a good time was had by all!

Actually, it wasn't really cold. It was about -1ºC (32F) so not bad. Next weekend will be cold!!!! Sunday's high is supposed to be -21ºC (-6F)

Yes, they are more for businesses, but we use one at home. After losing our files on more than one occasion after computer problems, we decided to keep everything on the one server and network to all of our computers. Other than that stupid crash earlier this year, it has worked out much better for us

I don't mind driving in it.
Heck I don't even really mind shoveling it (except for my bad back)

I just HATE BEING COLD!

I am the opposite, I hate shovelling (bad back!) and I hate driving in the snow but I don't mind the cold at all.

Bad back here too. Just found out my MRI results last week... herniated disc.
Starting physical therapy soon, then after a couple of weeks they want me to see a spine specialist.

Bob got me a nice shovel that you just push along so you don't have to lift as much, but what I really wanted was for him to do the shoveling!

I must have missed this story Joanne, who is the make a wish child, I mean someone in your family? A friend's? Who else is in the photo besides you, anyone else in your family?

My ds is the one with the baseball hat. BIL is the short guy with Minnie his wife is the one all the way to the left. I have the Disney sweat shirt on. The three little girls are theirs. Isabelle is the 6 year old. She was very sick about three years ago and was not expected to live. She only has one foot of intestine left. It is truly a miracle. So her doctors put her in to the make a wish foundation for a trip to Disney.
