We're in for a snow storm tonight and all day tomorrow. I'm in an area that is predicted to get 8"-12". About 30 miles north of here they are expecting 12"+.

I'm working from home tomorrow regardless if DS has school. I figure why drive all the way to the office in this crap just to drive back in it.

Thanks Karen.

I'm now addicted to that game. Second time out I got it in 199. 30,900 points. Not sure how fast those people getting the 45,000+ points are doing it in.

My goal is to get to that leader board. :thumbsup2

147 on try #3. 35,300 ponts. These people must be sub 2 minutes at the top.

122 seconds, 37,800.

I'm thinking sub-100 for the leaders. It definitely gets easier as you do it. You start to just see which way they need to go.

What is this Beavers to which he goes?

Its the little version of cub scouts. He'll be moving up to cubs soon.

Geez Karen - thanks so much for the game!!! NOT!!!! I will be doing this all night instead of my exam review which I need to get done!!!!

Sorry!:rolleyes1

Yes, I completed it. You just have to remember that all the connections are used. So all the little bits need to be connected... :rolleyes1

Thanks for the hint:thumbsup2

Karen: Those are some great pictures of Ellis. That kid has a beautiful smile.

Thank you

Here you go, Karen:

Good morning peeps.

Another uber busy day today for me. Errands all over and I should be in school all day.
Does anyone have the formula to split yourslef in two or to clone yourself?:confused3

Number boy - you're good at that sort of stuff.... I'll expect it by 4pm ok!:thumbsup2

And with that silly note I'll be gone to start ironing and getting the munchkin ready for school.

Wheres my fairy godmother when you need her:confused3 A swish of that wand and she could have it all done for me in a jiffy:rolleyes:

I wouldnt mind her swapping my old micra for a golden coach while she's at it too:lmao:

I can just imagine the strange looks I'd get driving down Sutton High Street in it though, and as for parking the darned thing:rolleyes1 .... I think I'll stick with my micra after all.

Have a great day folks:goodvibes

Stay safe and warm for those of you with snow

Good Morning All........

Good morning Everyone! Have a great day! I am off to offer young minds ways to explore and help them review for their Romeo and Juliet test tomorrow.

I'm not much of a cook or baker either.
My husband does most of the dinner meals.
But I'd like to try some good Christmas cookie recipes.
Anybody have a favorite they'd like to share?
That could be a fun thing to do, sharing our favorite holiday recipes.

I'll post a few of my favs Arleen. Let me get a few together.

I'm going in Jeff. My company doesn't ever close...not that anyone even calls us much anymore anyway...but if they closed they'd have to pay me and God forbid if that would happen. They'll wait and wait until I've had enough and then I'll leave at lunchtime. Then once I leave, they'll all go home and pay themselves. Aghh!!

I sure could use a weekday off though.

More great pics Karen! What is in the rolls of paper with ribbon on the table? Are those gifts or decoration?

Nancy those are called crackers. You pull them apart at the ends and they make a popping sound and little prizes fall out ... usually a party hat, and a little toy, and maybe a joke or saying written on a small piece of paper. We ordered some one year for the kids at Christmas ... made a mess but lots of fun for them.

BTW, you British folks can feel free to correct me if I explained that poorly. :goodvibes

Got it. At first I saw only the empty ends but when I looked a little closer I see the ribbons are actually securing something inside.

Are those ever stuffed with chocolate mice?? :goodvibes
