At least you've started!
Do you ship stuff here ahead of your arrival? Where did you decide to stay this year?
No, we dont ship ahead... tha parcel would probably arrive waaaaaay after we'd left to come home

Last year I sent 2 items on the same day to the USA. One was a birthday card that arrived too early

Karen, wouldn't it have been easier to just pick up a $15-$20 tree here once you're in the states from a Wal-greens or something? How big of one are you bringing?
You could have then donated it to a charity before leaving.
Just a thought.
Its only a little 3 foot tree

Good morning to anyone who is out there right now. And good afternoon to our friends across the pond.
Well, today starts with Kristin getting over here by 8:00 am. (Yeah, right!).We have the floor plan to finish making sure we leave an extra table for the wedding crashers, place cards (thanks Cass....wait until you see what she did for us), a run to the caterer with table runners after I iron them all
, a run to the baker to pay for the extra pastries Kristin ordered for a 10:00 pm snack on Saturday, finish her crystal tree, church programs,........takes deep breath........and the hairdresser for me by 4:30.

Anyone in the neighborhood feel free to stop in and take a few things off of our plates today.![]()
On Monday, Jesse's mom got a voice mail at work (it was cowardly left on Saturday when she doesn't work) telling her that two people who previously answered no now decided they want to come. Not only the two of them but their 3 adult children who were NOT invited to begin with!!! Respond cards were due November 1st and they call on the 15th??? What the heck? Doesn't anyone have any wedding ettitquette anymore? We had over 20 people respond well after the due date and some not at all but we think they are coming. Rant over.![]()
I'll check in here and there but probably not much anymore until after the wedding.
Oh yeah, since I know he lurks:
Happy Birthday, November 20th, to my dear sweet son Tony!
Firstly ....

2ndly - Happy birthday Tony

3rdly - Hope everything goes smoothly for you all in the last stages of planning. I wish I was closer -I'd be happy to help.
Have you ever tried?...you'd be surprised at what you can do. As for Dad...thank you.
erm.... I struggle with a small bunch from ASDA

Afternoon Karen![]()
GOOD AFTERNOON

Yes, but I didn't know and as we were all linked, I caused the problem. We're linking with Robin & Mike for dinner, but will wait till we've done our tour ressies to link up
Cool! - they were our dinner neighbours last year. I hope we all get in the same area again this year.
Topsiders was good for an evening meal if you don't fancy any of the menus in the main dining rooms.
Never got to try it..... one more thing to add to my list

Don't think Rick and I will bother with Palo's this trip.
Really? - how can you turn down grape and blue cheese pizza

Good morning everyone. It is a very brisk morning here. I am not walking the kids to the bus, but driving them in a heated car instead. The last couple of morning have been tolerable, but not today!
I am thinking we will just have Palo brunch as a family. Thats if we even do it at all. Last cruise, DS wouldn't stay in the club too long. I am hoping that the 3 years since the last cruise he has matured enough to have a good time and enjoy himself. At the very least, perhaps he will know some of your children after swimming at the pool at the Radisson on Friday night. That way, he will be having fun with kids he knows.
I cant rememebr Chris - how old is your ds? If he's 8 or older he'll be in the same club as mine and Jeff's, if younger the same as Jen's. Either way, get him chatting before the cruise so he has a ready made friend. I remember last time, none of our kids would come out of the club
