Gosh, you turn the other way for less than a day and there's a new thread and nearly twenty pages already! :scared1: I've given up keeping up. It'll be hit and miss from here on in. :sad2:

EPCOT_VA checking in and subscribing.

Matthew

And I had a further 20 pages to read through when I logged on at 1pm. My don;t you all talk:rotfl2:

I do, I do. Heather, those are beautiful!! I so wish you would've lived around here somewhere. We wouldn't have had to search for a florist at all. :flower3:

Thank you Nancy...I would've loved to do your flowers for you. Don't forget to let me see what you decided on after the wedding this weekend.

Well, I have read it all, made notes - now let's see if I can comment on all I wanted....
Heather - the flowers you and your Mum did were beautiful. Phaleonopsis (sp?) orchids are one of my favorites, but I love orchids anyway. You both are so creative and your sense of achieving balance is incredibly creative. Wonderful arrangements and great pictures! That little great-nephew is a cutie too.

Thanks Mimi...you sound like you know a thing or two about flower arranging from your comments. The comment from the judge on Saturday for my red arrangement was that it lost a bit of it's balance towards the bottom left hand side of the arrangement. When I looked again I could see what she was getting at.

Good morning to anyone who is out there right now. And good afternoon to our friends across the pond.

Well, today starts with Kristin getting over here by 8:00 am. (Yeah, right!).:goodvibes We have the floor plan to finish making sure we leave an extra table for the wedding crashers, place cards (thanks Cass....wait until you see what she did for us), a run to the caterer with table runners after I iron them all :woohoo: , a run to the baker to pay for the extra pastries Kristin ordered for a 10:00 pm snack on Saturday, finish her crystal tree, church programs,........takes deep breath........and the hairdresser for me by 4:30. :scared:

Anyone in the neighborhood feel free to stop in and take a few things off of our plates today. :worship:

On Monday, Jesse's mom got a voice mail at work (it was cowardly left on Saturday when she doesn't work) telling her that two people who previously answered no now decided they want to come. Not only the two of them but their 3 adult children who were NOT invited to begin with!!! Respond cards were due November 1st and they call on the 15th??? What the heck? Doesn't anyone have any wedding ettitquette anymore? We had over 20 people respond well after the due date and some not at all but we think they are coming. Rant over. :flower3:

I'll check in here and there but probably not much anymore until after the wedding.

Oh yeah, since I know he lurks:

:cheer2: Happy Birthday, November 20th, to my dear sweet son Tony! :cheer2:

Sorry, Didn't get my responce to you soon enough..Will be there :scared1: :thumbsup2

Now where's that address so I don't get lost....

Walt and Di :cool1:

Happy Birthday Tony

Good morning everyone. It is a very brisk morning here. I am not walking the kids to the bus, but driving them in a heated car instead. The last couple of morning have been tolerable, but not today!

I am thinking we will just have Palo brunch as a family. Thats if we even do it at all. Last cruise, DS wouldn't stay in the club too long. I am hoping that the 3 years since the last cruise he has matured enough to have a good time and enjoy himself. At the very least, perhaps he will know some of your children after swimming at the pool at the Radisson on Friday night. :thumbsup2 That way, he will be having fun with kids he knows.

Heather, your flower arrangements are just lovely!!! I am lucky if I can stick the roses that Rob gives me in a vase without them dying first :rolleyes1 You (and your mum) are very talented! :worship:

Thanks! We GOS'S have to stick together.

Those are beautiful!!!! Congrats on your awards.

Heather, they are all amazing! Wish I had an ounce of that in me.

robin told me a teacher actually made that comment to her in high school.
:sad2: :sad1:

Hi guys...great to see you and I loved the photos

I know it was posted...I saw the photo...but can someone explain the Pancake Sisters to me again?

Maybe I'll be invited to join!:rolleyes1

Sorry, Jen. I went to bed early and just saw your post.

The Pancake Sisters originated on the SSMC08 thread. A couple of weeks before the cruise, we were all getting a little silly on the thread and Mary (WDWLVR, unfortunately not joining us on the cruise) started posting all these crazy pirate smilies. Then her husband Mark, said 'how about a bunny with a pancake on it's head?' and posted the bunny that you see in my siggie. Turns out it is based on Oolong, Performance Bunny, who was an internet sensation, famous for balancing things on his head. We thought he was so cute, we adopted him as our mascot. During brunch at Palo, we convinced our confused yet eager to please waiter Sean to bring us 4 buttermilk pancakes (along with some waxed paper as to not muss our hair) and we had the now infamous picture taken.

So here's a complete list, SO FAR, including new members:

millerpjm - Jen Mouse - Foxie
Tikimimi - Mimi - Pixie
danandnan - Nancy K - Doxie
JOANNEL - Joanne - Dixie
goslingl - Leisha - Bixie
njprincess - Kathy - Trixie
WDWLVR - Mary - Mixie (sadly not joining us on this cruise)
acourtwdw - Annette - Moxie
acourtdwd2 - Amanda - Roxie
Tart Annihilator - Robin - Annihilixie
Walt & Di - Di - Wixie
GOS - Heather - Energixie
minnieandmickey - Becky - Becxie
Karen Mouse - Karen - Aussiexie (newest member!)

Sister Non Grata - Vixie (Big Red). Vixie has become the first Pancake Sister to be stripped of her Pancake for conduct unbecoming a Pancake Sister.

So, now that you know the story, would you like to join us? You must be willing to be photographed with a pancake on your head. You can pick your own name as long as it ends in 'xie' or we can pick one for you. We will have our official induction ceremony at one of the onboard meets and will take a new Pancake Sister photo.

Are there any other ladies who would like to join us? :flower3: Just drop me a PM.

Good luck Nancy...I'm sure you'll have a fabulous day. to Kirstin...hope she's feeling better.

Right 20 pages caught up...back to work.

Good morning all,

Turkey is in the oven and I am working from the recliner and dissing at the same time.... does it get any better!!!!

It is a cold 31 this morning...... I will take it over that 17 in Maine.

Nancy- hope the bride is feeling better, good luck with all the extra guests. Take a deep breath and just enjoy the day.

Karen, when we were involved with the Scavenger Hunt in Rockin Bar D last year the announcer asked for a Navigator. Jesse grabbed my hand and dragged me up to the stage saying I was his Navigator. Poor kid, he is so brainwashed. I don't know a fraction of what some of the other DISers know. He did, however, get extra points for being creative with his answer.

I feel the same way about my brother, Frank  He is usually my travel buddy but unfortunately, he can't join us on B.O.B. He is a wealth of Disney trivia information and seems to memorize The Navigator everday! In addition to being a DVC member and Disneyholic, he also happens to be an RC priest and he even said Mass for us before we left on the Member Cruise (you may have heard some of us giggling about not be able to keep a straight face during the ARGHHHH Father!) I'm hoping that he will change his mind since he would be a great addition to the B.O.B. trivia team! Otherwise, I will be wandering around the ship bumping into things and asking 'which way to the ice cream machine?'!

Oh, I'm SURE that's not true! I'm sure that Di digs Walt :lmao: I haven't met you yet, but c'mon ladies, let's hear it for Walt!!!

:lovestruc  :lovestruc For Walt!!:lovestruc  :lovestruc

Will do Heather. :thumbsup2

Yeah, I saw that it was a group brunch.
Who knows, perhaps our brunch reservations will be at the same time!!!

I'm guessing that the 'romance' angle would be pretty well shot if 30 BOBers walked in to Palo at the same time as you! :lmao:

I'm sure you know this Chris, but no one under 18 on Palo. Oh, duh, that's what you meant about your son staying in the club. Never mind!

And here I thought you were kidding us about Frank being a priest. I'll be sure to watch my mouth WHEN he cruises with us. :goodvibes

Good luck with that Turkey Joanne. I bought one last week just in case my kids break me down and I end up cooking next week. Now I found out that my husbands new employer gives out turkeys to everyone too. I'll be suffering from a severe case of Turkeytetracycline if we eat all that. :rotfl2:

We've pretty much came to the conclusion that there will be some guests that will pull a fast one on us and even some who will wander in from the party that is going on across the park. I did tell our reception rep that I intend on sending all my guests over to the other party for their beverages. Cheaper for me that way! She didn't find it quite as humorous as I did. :rotfl2:

No need to worry Nancy. I think the people that have cruised with Frank will attest to the fact that he is a pretty regular guy. He is also Joanne's walking buddy.
