Hi All........

I was just getting ready to make this post when I received a PM from MG, so I answered her PM first.

The past two days at work have been crazy. I read meters in the morning, then from 12:30-3:30 we have been having Basic First Aid and CPR/Airway Obstruction classes. These classes are required, for all employees of the Water/Sewer Department by OSHA.

I am now certified in giving CPR and Basic First Aid. Please, all I ask, don't have a heart attack or choke on anything near me. Although I can perform these duties, I'd really rather not have to do it. Stay Healthy

The classes were very informative and I learned a great deal.

Been dealing with some other extended family matters as well since arriving home from work today, which has limited my internet time.

They are good classes. I am certified too, but I hope I never have to use it. It is good to see you here, Andy!

That's why I say get "cash" cards (i.e. Visa - wouldn't do Amex right now).

If you get a gift card, I would make sure to use it really quick after Xmas. Plus, those are the best sales anyways.

Especially Applebees gift cards that are received as a gift.

We did the CP in 2005, it was after Christmas but still wonderful. I can only imagine how much more magical it could be on Christmas Eve.

As I was getting ready to hit the send button on my last post the phone was ringing. Lina took the call, it was my mom calling from Florida letting us know that my brother Chuck's girlfriend went to the hospital to have some tests done this morning and wound up have emergency surgery. I still don't know why she had surgery as my mom didn't tell Lina. What a night we have been having around here. I think I want to runaway from home for a few days........

Besides that, there is "NO WAY" I can even begin to catch up on this thread from all of last night's and today's postings.........
