What bus issue did you have? We stayed at BCV and didn't have any problems with the buses. In fact, it was just Manda and I on the way back to the hotel on the bus. We gave the driver some candy :)

It took forever to get to and from the hotel and the parks. One morning we waited over 20 minutes so finally the third bus that said DTD felt sorry for every one and took us to MGM.

We will be at the BCV before and after the cruise. That is our favorite. esp. during the Food and Wine fest.

Beach club is our favorite too. But we aren't doing any parks so it doesn't matter. Just the MSSHP.

We loved BWV and loved the proximity to EPCOT. I would love to stay over there (either place really) and go to EPCOT during the day then to MNSSHP that night - but can you do that? Is there a one-day park hopper (you have to pay for MNSSHP on top of admission, right?) and would we be able to get into MK for the party if we bought our tickets ahead of time for it?

You don't need a park ticket in addition to your MNSSHP ticket, only if you want in before 4.

I have had bus issues when staying at SSR & AKL. I think you don't see it as much at BCV & BWV because you have a bunch of resorts close together and there are a lot of buses.

Breakfast at AKL sounds great. We would love to stay there too, but we can't make reservations there till March 31. We don't look forward to the crowds at MNSSHP on Halloween, but we don't have the choice of going before the cruise. Also, we will be there to soak in atmosphere not so much to ride and eat, so maybe we'll be fine.

I agree completely - we will make our own fun if it gets too crowded! ;)

Worst for me was AKL.

I like that area too, but since it's only 1 night (for MNSSHP) and I will have a car, I'm going to stay at AKV.

You can certainly get a 1 day park ticket. I'm don't think I'm going to do a park that day. I am looking forward to spending some time at AKV, since it will be my first time at Kidani Village

MNSSHP is a 'hard ticket' event so it only includes the party, with admission to MK after 4PM that day.

Okay - so we can stay wherever we can get reservations at 7 months (or 11 if it is SSR) then go to EPCOT if we want that afternoon, and we can go to MK after 4 for the price of the MNSSHP only!!!! I am psyched! Now it will jsut be a matter of where we can stay when we can call. I suppose we should get a ressie at SSR just in case then switch it at 7 months if there is something else we would want. Cool beans!!!!!

I just love all this planning!!! :yay: No matter where we all end up staying, I love the idea of meeting up for breakfast on Sunday!

Breakfast on sunday would be great :)

We are calling on Dec 3 for our resort ressies. That is our 11 month mark for BCV.

Maybe we will re think the date of the MNSSHP and do it with the "crew". It will be packed and that might give me an anxiety attack. Still thinking.... I don't do crowds well. Yet WDW is my favorite vacation place. You try to figure it out. I have and it doesn't make sense.

Yeah, and the upcharge wasn't that much more on the tickets. It is more for the non-expiring portion, but you get the 10-day at the 7-day rate. That is where the big savings comes in. :thumbsup2

We've priced them without the waterpark feature, something you probably don't need unless you want to take the kids there (Typhoon is closed in February for renovations, so only Blizzard Beach will be open). Not sure if we'll add it on or not. It is $50 per ticket flat fee, but we get 10 "Plus" features (which includes mini-golf and Disney Quest). We have so many left over from previous tickets.

Unless you plan on going 2 days to the water parks, it wouldn't pay for you to get the add-on.

I didn't buy the park hoppers this time or the waterparks. The kids are a bit young for the waterparks. (they enjoy the pool at the resort every bit as much) And last time we were in WDW we didn't park hop even once despite having bought the upgrade. I don't expect that we will do it this time as well. DL and DCA are much easier to park hop. The Upgrade to non-expiring will cost about $500 I anticipate having between 3 and 4 tickets unused from this trip. If I just say 4 unused tix then the tickets will cost about $31.25 each. That's a good deal. If I buy the non-expiry tix w/o park hoppers can they still be transfered to DL? or DCA? I don't care much if they are park hoppers or not since I rarely hop parks anyway. But the price is definately attractive.

Thanks everyone for your concern. :goodvibes

Things are going to be a bit tight here for awhile, but we will get through it and be the better for it, I'm sure. We are staying positive. :thumbsup2

I am. 2010. Late July early August. Whenever Sean and Cath tell me I can come. I hope to see all the UK KKers while swinging by their towns or at least near by. I know we will be in London. I can't wait to see everything there. Maybe you can be our tour guide.:thumbsup2

Hope to see you next summer then:yay: :dance3:

Nanc, what are you gonna do with the 6 you get on this cruise?? :lmao:

Well, you've been pretty tough to take

(Sorry, I quote my favourite movies as often as I can :rolleyes1 )

How long have you been married??? Have you not been properly trained yet??? If you are even ASKING, you need more work my dear ;) :rolleyes1

:rotfl2: :lmao:

And to think you WERE once my favorite canadian....:snooty:

After what transpired over the weekend, then again this morning, it is with a heavy heart that I share that Hazel and I have decided to cancel both our May 2009 and October 2009 cruises. :sad1:

I sent an e-mail to Sue Ellen at Dreams Unlimited earlier this morning asking her to cancel our reservation, if anyone is interested in either SPH connecting staterooms 5522 or 5524 for the BOB cruise, feel to contact her and see if they are still available. My mom had me cancel her reservation as well this morning.

Sorry to be a downer on a Monday, but we really had no choice in the matter.

I wish all of you nothing but a MAGICal time next October. :)

Sorry to hear your news Andy, maybe the time has come to list people who for whatever reason (am sure they'll be more before we sail) cannot make this cruise on page one with the understanding that if anyone was lucky enough between now and cruise time to pick a large Lotto win.....:rolleyes1

ps....Don't feel you need to wait for the Lotto win before offering to pay for our cruise ....WE'LL TAKE IT,THANKS......:rotfl2:

ok......I understand none of that!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: What the heck are you rambling on about pants?????? at least now i'm comfortable enough to say i don't have a clue when it comes to most of your posts!

I will send Sean a PM now and ask.
I think that is why Sean suggested August. Hazel, Jess and Rosie can go with the girls to our own "church".:rotfl2:
