Rob and I had a date night last night :lovestruc He had bought us Cirque Du Soleil tickets last Christmas and we saw Corteo last night :thumbsup2 We had front row seats (helps when you buy your tickets 9 months in advance LOL! ) and it was really good!

It was a little different from other shows as the stage was round and there were people on both sides of the stage but we really enjoyed it. The best part was just as we got seated in the "Grand Chapiteau" it started to POUR rain and it sounded so good in the tent!!! :thumbsup2

I almost forgot about Corteo since the tickets were purchased a long time ago...so now we will be seeing four Cirque shows this year as we have tix for 3 shows in Vegas in October :goodvibes

Any other Cirque fans here?

Hi all,

Just back from NY- Have tons of work to catch up on. It was fun. Do miss the city some times. Spending 4 days with 40 something in laws??? All I can say is I am glad to be in Florida!!!

Matthew is driving with the kids on Thanksgiving Day while I work. I have to work Friday, too, so I'll fly out Saturday morning. Several of his family members are joining us. We're staying at one of the All Star resorts until Sunday. Then we move to Old Key West for a Grand Villa stay (3 bedroom DVC accomadation... very spacious). We're staying for a week.

I am excited to see the new attractions they have added since our last trip. I just haven't gotten as excited as previous trips. Maybe when the summer is over, I'll start looking forward to the break again!
That sounds awesome!
The OKW GVs look really nice! I just watched a video walk through of one of them in a TR last week. :wizard:

Someday we hope to own enough pts to rent a GV for a week!!! :woohoo:

We had a good weekend also. Scott's sister and fam were here. They left yesterday and now my dad is here for the week to keep the kids.
Can't wait to see you photos.:thumbsup2
That sounds great, too!!!
I'll get around to uploading them....gonna run out of room soon, anyway!!! :rotfl:

:welcome: Back Joanne, and, I know the feeling!!! ;)

Hmm, the biggest tip is that you can get into the park at around 4 PM with your MNSSHP ticket, even though the party doesn't start till 7PM. Use the turnstyles all the way to the right when you go through. Also the parade and fireworks are NOT to be missed!!! Do the early parade so you don't miss the late parade, kids may not make it to the late one. And if you are staying late and want lots of candy, head to Fantasyland around 10-11 pm, they fill your bags with candy instead of just a few at a time. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 I'm a little jealous...this is my favourite time to be at the MK :lovestruc but I am glad you get to go...everyone should see it at least once! ::yes::
Good to know!
If we dont' renew our APs then hopefully we wont' need a park ticket for that day. We have CP reservations for 4:05pm, so if we can get in at 4 that'll be awesome!

Can't wait to see Hallowishes! I remember you talking about them and how :wizard: they are! :woohoo:

I doubt we'll make it past the fireworks to 10 or 11pm, but if we could just make it to the parade and fireworks, that'd be really great!

Well, she exagerates a little bit. We have 5 days in the GV. Since early December is the "cheapest" season, we got it for 182 points. We have only gotten a GV one other time since we became members in 1993. Usually if we have company, the two bedroom does the trick. Otherwise, we get the 1 BR for the four of us.

Good Evening everyone.
Sean said thank you for all the kind comments about his pics. Here is a pic of the photograper:

Evening all,

Lori, I loved the pic of Harrison in the #5 jersey. That will be Rem's # in pee wee. Practice went great tonight! Just conditioning.

Cass, I have only seen one Cirque (O) but I loved it! Amazing

Mel, congrats on the vacation planning!

Anybody on?

Gentlemen, and ladies.
I have been forced, I mean, asked to let you know that Big Red has posted a new edition to her blog. Please enjoy as I have been informed that even though I will be on vacation, my secretarial duties shall continue on the ship.

I have to say that I really enjoy all the pics that are being posted. I really miss my babies being that little.

This Eagle is flying solo to Riverwinds this morning, my young Eagle chick is still feeling out of sorts and is staying in the nest today. ;)

See y'all later.........:wave2:
