OK Andy, you inspired me. I have been intending to get back into some sort of regular exercise. The girls and I went for our first "daily" walk this evening. I will move that up to a jog later, and increase duration. Once school is back in session, I have plans to get back to the gym. (I'm going to drag Tinkerbell.RN there too! ) I gained 5 pounds on the cruise in May and it hasn't gotten back off. :scared1: I will either have to exercise more or stop going on cruises. (I think we all know that the latter isn't going to happen. :rolleyes1 )

Matthew :wizard:

I'm happy to hear I have inspired someone other than myself!!! Because my knees are so bad (I've had 7 knee surgeries since age 16), I cannot run or jog under docs orders, but I can do the treadmill at a fast walking pace. I have made it up to 4mph with a 5% incline as of yesterday. I think the 4pmh might be my limit, but I can increase the incline a little bit more to help with my workouts. The bike is good for me and I can do the elliptical for about 10 minutes tops so far.

Oh yeah, I also started on a piece of exercise equipment to help tighten up my adominal muscles(I call it my tummy crunches machine), this area needs a GREAT deal of work........;)

And that exercise will help keep your back strong, too!

Although it would be nice don't count on the new ships doing any special iteneraries like that, at least right away. I believe part of the new Port Canaveral contract was the the new ships stay there for a certain number of years. I can see them releasing the Wonder and Magic to do special iteneraries though.

Well, mostly this was all fantasy anyway. :guilty:

If the Magic heads back to the Med, we would probably pass. Don't want to do the same vacation twice. Now that you bring it up, once there are four ships in the fleet, won't they need either a second year round port (like LA) or send the ships out on special itineraries year round?

Well never say never. Do you think they would do a transitional cruise from Germany to here as the very first one?

We didn't get to do the Med cruise, so that is one that is on my dream list right now. I think that one though I would have to take the kids on. Or if the Magic or Wonder wind up permanently here on the west coast and they do another PC cruise I would like to take the kids on that as well. Hmm may have to take a 2nd and 3rd job to be able to afford all that.

The Med cruise was the first cruise we ever went on. Of course, we have only been on two cruises total. (DCL Med 07/07/2007 & 3 Ngt Bahamas 05/22/2008). We were hooked after the spectacular time we had in the Med. Even at 11 nights, there was just sooo much to see. It seemed that we were running all the time.

As far as Germany goes... We are looking at those Adventures by Disney all inclusive trips to go there. That is more likely what we will end up doing in 2010 or 2012.

Where does Disney sail out of in LA? Which terminal that is.

We sail out of San Pedro out of the World Cruise Center, not sure what berth.

Howdy Everyone, time to get another week underway.........

A Monday morning FO, what a way to start the week........;)

Morning Andy, I was wondering where you were. Get better sleep?

Gotta go get a shower and head off to work. Have a good workout this morning.:thumbsup2

Good for you. Maybe you'll have a better week this week. How's the leg? And are you sore from the fall?

Leg is fine and no ill effects from the fall either, I'm in tip-top shape!!! :goodvibes
