10/24/2009 Bash on the Boat Cruise (I'm with BOB) Chapter #10

I've watched EVERY Grey's episode since the beginning and have all 3 season DVD sets. (I need to see if last season is on DVD yet! I haven't looked.)

I had some trouble connecting with the other characters in Private Practice...but I still like Addison!


And Chris... I did see the "pilot" for Knight Rider. At the time, I didn't know it was going to be a series...but the ending did leave it open for that! I'm glad it is. Hopefully they will make a good show and not just rely on the name and gimmick.

Was there anything you really liked or really disliked about the "pilot?" I liked the opening when the girl was on the phone and Kitt called her as he raced to the scene. That was kind of corny, but I enjoyed that sequence.

I thought the line from the "Hoff" was kind of corny. When asked by his son "will I see you around," his response was "I certainly hope so." That statement was kind of a double meaning, hoping father and son would reconnect, and hoping NBC would sign on for a specific number of episodes!

Yes it was - we didnt really get to chat that nigt thogh - Ellis was dog tired - we stayed just about to the end with the fireworks then took him to bed - I was actually in the mood for a dance that night aswell (which never ever happens) - typical.

Karen - when are your flights for - Chrimbob? I checked the other day for Oct 2009 and didnt think they were released yet? You seem to have gotten a right bargain!

Was upset when I saw Hether's blog and saw Rosie's pic, I might be ten years older but she is still my best mate in the whole world and not seeing her for over three weeks has taken its toll, isnt she gorgeous?! Anyways she is ringing me in half an hour so that should cheer me up!!

No, the flights are for next Oct. Ive been checking almost daily and today for no reason whatsoever Virgin Atlantic released a load of discounts to Virgin Holidays

Virgin Holidays have been released for a long time for next Oct - Virgin Atlantic dont release theirs until 334 days before your return date. - around xmas time for us.

I am really pleased with the price - huge saving which means more shopping for me

You should check your dates with Virgin Holidays - we've just booked a flydrive (although we dont actually collect the car as their insurance cover is so expensive we can hire one and insure it for a lot less with usrentacar.) I'll then book accom seperately.

If your Dad wants any help booking anything when he gets back get him to pm me.

Say hi to your Dad and everyone from us all - I cant believe how Rosie is all grown up - she's a real cute little lady!

ps - ask your Dad if he's taken his camera out its bag yet - I know what a click happy camera guy he is

Came home from work to find Hazel has us 90% packed for our upcoming cruise, that's good because the way I'm feeling right now, I wouldn't be packing until Saturday night at the earliest........


My mom just called, she and Walt are going to pick us up at the airport and drive us over to the Radisson, then the 4 of us are heading to Grills for an early dinner and watch the Wonder sailaway on Sunday. That sounds so relaxing doesn't it?

Looks like dinner is ready, I'll try to stop by later after I get a quick power nap in. I turned in 3 meter books yesterday and another 2 meter books today, my butt is really beginning to drag. At least I will have 5 days on the Magic to rest up........

I think I was only able to chat with your mom once for a bit while we were all waiting for a table at Palo on the last cruise. She was very nice to me even if it was just small talk between the two of us. Come to think of it, she probably couldn't understand my cajun accent and thought I was crazy!

Have just spoken to AFEG & Co they have had a top time, the only thing that has got to them is the humidity. My Mum and Dad are off to Palo's tonight - you have no idea how bizarre this is - i had to bribe him with a mars bar and a pizza and chicken tender maid service for the rest of the week the last time I dragged him there.

Me and my Mum loved it though, brunch being the best. We even had one brunch in the special function room - nice but would rather be in the main restaurant, afterall, the ambience is what you pay the little extra for....

Bendy...gonna go back to Victoria and Albert's next year but can you recommend anywhere different that is as nice?

Isnt your hubby that superstar American Marine? If so my Dad adores his t-shirts and wears them to the gym like he is really skinny and really spesh!!

Yep, I got him to do Palo with us tonight. He went to brunch with us last week and ate virtually nothing. We're dropping him from the group brunch this Saturday.

We're having a great time with you family. Can't wait to see you with them next year.

Looks like Gustav has caused us to change course a little. Instead of going between Haiti and Cuba on our way to CC, the map on Channel 12 now has us going between Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico (earlier in the trip they had the map showing the other way).

Now if we can just get Hannah to form and stall, maybe we can get stuck a little south and we can extend the cruise a day or two.

Jeff - I can't believe you are in Aruba and you bet me to my first FO!!! Glad someone else know's what the big man's like, he is plain plain plain all the way with a love for a chocolate McD's Shake - so refined, what can i say - i have learnt my taste of fine food from Jamie Oliver, Masterchef and Bendy's fine food trip reports!!
