Well... I have ended my day as I began it...watching the Magic!

Hey, not that there's anything wrong with that!


We had a beach excursion in Villefranche to a private "topless optional" beach in Juan les Pins during our Med Cruise. The only thing was about 90% of the people there were from the cruise, and none of them were taking their tops off.

It was just something I wanted to be able to say I did (topless only -- eeew to birthday suit and sand ). It was both of our very first cruise, first time out of the country, our honeymoon, etc.

Just wanted to thank everyone for posting pics of the Magic today - they were great!

I have been spending most of my time off from work today on the restaurant boards with the other F&W freaks or running errands since we were out of town this weekend.

It's been a good day.

Sounds like a restful, yet productive day!

I'm totally exhuasted and wiped-out, but I have to go and pick Lina up from Jenna's house at 10pm, I hope I don't fall sleep behind the wheel. I was able to capture another 35-40 pics of the Magic going through the Gatun Locks tonight. Now it's time to rest.........

Then the piece de resistance was the day we got off the ship. We were walking through Sea World and I hear Elaine say, "Hey there, how are you doing?" I snapped around thinking, we are 1200 miles from home, who is she talking to? Lo and behold, it was that same family we had been running into!

thank you Karen for sharing the pictures. I was on the bike all day from Wichita Kansas to Lincoln Nebraska. We stopped at two Harley dealers. It was quite chilly on the bike today. Had to wear a jacket. Once we got to hotel we washed our clothes, ate a few snacks then went out to dinner for Prime Rib. Now I am dising and Walt is probably sleeping. We have a great view from our room. 8th floor. looking right into the University of Nebraska football stadium. Diane

Jay and I had a lot of time to talk it over while spending lots of time in airplanes and at airports this weekend. Basically he told me to just go for the events I wanted this year because we will be very limited next year since we're doing the cruise. I think he also felt bad about how bad I felt this weekend (that much time crammed into an airline seat is hard on the back and I can't take the darvocet as much as I'd like for the pain because it makes me a queasy wheezy). So, my hubby spoiled me and let me run with it this morning and the end result is that we will grow large with food in October.
