Yep, it'll be before we know it. We went to Wal-Mart today and they were playing Christmas music. (a little too early for that, I think)

I said the same thing to Hazel when we were in our local Walmart yesterday. It was nice hearing the Christmas music, but I think they are pushing the envelope a little early.

Wow that was nice to get that extra hour sleep. I woke up my "regular" time and didn't feel like I was dragging. It will get depressing though at around 4:30 when it is dark outside.

That is crazy about the Christmas music at Walmart. I start my fundraising before Thanksgiving, but tell all of my bell ringers, "do not say, 'Thank you have a Merry Christmas' untill after Thanksgiving." I simply say to them to tell donors, "have a great day, great weekend," or some other non holiday specific greeting.

One of my pet peeves is because of all of the driving I do I listen to the radio a lot, and the same Christmas songs get really old by the time Christmas finally gets here. For some reason, my sports talk station on AM doesn't come in too clear in my full size van, so I am stuck listening to the local FM stations that drive me nuts after a while. It gets some interference from the engine or something. It comes in crystal clear in my minivan.

Yes, Little Bunny Foo-Foo can surely stay with you. I am doing much better today, thanks! I got over my fear of taking pain medication again, so I got rid of my headache. A pancake sisters serenade - I think we can manage that one night; we'll have 7 of them, for godoness sake! I keep wondering if my current employer is going to be okay with my taking 5 days off school. If I go back to public school, I can accumulate vacation, and it is not a big deal. But oh the difference in students and the ability to teach as I want.....



For almost 10 years now (on second thought, it may not have been that long), Mack and I have seen ourselves working as retirees for the mouse. I have recently started asking myself why we should wait until we retire. I haven't come up with a good answer yet. The only thing that even poses a speed bump is considering where our kids and future grandkids will be. I feel cdertain my son will move out west, and who knows where my dd will end up. I just want to be able to go to grandkids' games and such. I know we shouldn't be thinking about 2 more moves/home buyings at this point in the game.

We fantasize about that too sometimes (working at WDW) but our kids & my folks are all here & we would miss so much if we moved south.

No, I'm doing this all on my own. I weigh myself in after my Saturday morning workouts.

That's great that you can be that self-disciplined. I myself find that I need the group therapy, although right now I don't have the at work one & I'm having a hard time trying to find a group I like.

I am thinking we will start small if we do decide to do this. We would be able to borrow or bank points to maximize according to our needs without spending a fortune. All during trick or treating last night I was reading up on DVC ownership. At dinner I kept saying to the kids, "do you want me to buy a place to stay at Disneyworld?"

Perhaps on the cruise, I can solicit all of my DVC BOBer friends to help me with some further convincing! This may end up being a 2009 Family Christmas gift.

I'm thinking we'll have you convinced before then!!!
