Nancy, we rented one at the airport and took it to Boardwalk then to the car rental place at Port C - they took us to the port. It was originally $59 for that whole time. Mack upgraded it to a convertible, and that was still only $88 - or less than 2 people on Disney transportation. Of course, you don't get the cartoons.

Remember, Sean kept saying, "Plain? You want them plain?"

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

I can live without the cartoons thank you very much!! Way too noisy. We still haven't decided whether to fly or drive so we're exploring many options.

Good morning BOBers. How is everyone? We are good here.

Andy, congrats on the 30 lbs!

Karen, glad you had a great party.:thumbsup2

Robin, loved the pics. You look great! And sooooo young.

Thanks Lori :)

We hadn't seen you on here lately. We were wondering if you were ok. Are you feeling better?

He hadn't had enough champagne. He just doesn't get this. He would be happy all by himself.......But I am so glad I have met all of you!!!He has enjoyed all you red sox fans and sitting on CC.

Guess he just needs the right subject SPORTS!

N

and again and again..................He would stay in Diversions watching football and baseball all day.

He did enjoy sitting in the water is cc with every one though. I do believe he even talked a little.

Yup, Dan got him to talk!!

Good Morning Nancy K, Chrisitian and Robin!!

Another day of cleaning up around here. Believe it or not, I did 17 loads of laundry yesterday! Two loads were are every day things and the other 15 were all the linens, blankets, curtains, garage rags, and the dog's stuff. :laundy:

We're leaving to return the carpet shampooer now and hitting up Starbucks for a treat. Don't worry Lori, it's the Skinny, decaf, sugar free, pumpkin spice Latte....no whip. :woohoo:

Then back to cleaning and working in the attic with some of that great itchy insulation.

No rest for these BOBers.

Have a great Sunday everyone. :yay:

Morning all! :goodvibes

I love getting my extra hour of sleep back when daylight savings ends but the "fake" time always throws me off on the first day after the clocks are re-set. Jay and I were both up at 7AM ... which would have been 8AM yesterday ... I'm so confused.

Good morning Nancy G!

Our laundry is stacked rather high as well. Today is a busy day for us, so I already got started and I am hoping I can switch my first load into the dryer before I leave.

Happy Birthday and Anniversary to everyone. Nancy you are so creative and good. Diane

We fantasize about that too sometimes (working at WDW) but our kids & my folks are all here & we would miss so much if we moved south.

N

We worry about that as well. I want to be near whatever grandchildren I may have.

WW fo????

I'm so proud of you!!!! Way to go on the FO!

You have time! We really enjoyed having the convertible - we'd never had one. My daddy was in the ER as a physician way too often and drilled it in my head - No convertibles.

I keep flipping between here and the DVCMC 09 thread - they are dialing in today - it's exciting! Mack asked me if I wanted tyo switch. I had to think about it. 7 day vs. 4, Virgin Islands vs. 2 days at CC (ok that one was hard), but I stayed on the Bash!

Good morning everyone!!!

Wow that was nice to get that extra hour sleep. I woke up my "regular" time and didn't feel like I was dragging. It will get depressing though at around 4:30 when it is dark outside.

I know what you mean, it was nice driving to Riverwinds this morning in daylight and not in total darkness. But after I get home from work each day, there won't be much daylight left...........

That sounds like something we might be interested in. How did you do it & if you don't mind telling, how much was it?

Nancy K

I booked on Avis.com I booked a full size car and including all the taxes and fees it came to being about $47.00, using the Sam's Club discount code. If you don't belong to Sam's there are a few Wal-Mart discount codes on the mousesavers website that give the same rate. When you are booking on-line the code for the pick-up at the Orlando airport is MCO and the code for the drop-off location at Port Canaveral is P3F

How early can one get tickets for the MMNSSHP and where does one get them early? Or is it just a reservation thing, so when we make our plans for next year, we can include it in our stay?

The tickets for MNSSHP usually go on sale the biginning of May. The dates and prices usually seem to be announced a few weeks before the tickets actually go on sale. Certain nights, especially Oct. 31, do sell out ahead of time so if you really want to go you should buy your tickets as soon as possible. They are sold on the Disneyworld website or by calling the main Disneyworld number. I think you can buy them by calling the DVC number too. Some of the less popular nights have had a DVC discount the past few years too but those are getting to be fewer and fewer.

Thanks Cheryl! Just what I needed to know! And of course, we're looking at the all popular night - since that is when we get back from the cruise. We just want to experience it; we're not even big on Halloween.

Wow Nancy G that is great!

Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday to all that have birthdays and anniverasaries in Nov. from me too!!!! I will be working a lot of extra hours again this month so theres a good chance I'll miss some of these as they come along.

If you're looking at Oct. 31 I'd get tickets as soon as they go on sale because of the populartity of that date. There are a lot of people here that have talked about going that night so I'm sure when the info for the parties for next year comes out it will be posted and talked about here more :goodvibes The party is alot of fun, we've been a few times! We're still debating on whether or not we will go that night, we're waiting to see what the prices are.

Thanks Lori :)

Yeah, just busy. My mom and dad's party, then Scott's, t-o-t, now a Pampered Chef party today at 2. It's clean the house then clean it again. Clean the house then clean it again................It's never ending. I think this is the last party for a while. At least until Thanksgiving which I am hosting this year. I love it though.
