Thanks Chris, that's better......;) ;) ;)

We enjoyed that room. My parents were in 5520. They booked so far in advance, they were able to get it right as they booked. One night while I was bored, I was looking at our cruise on expedia and saw that 5522 was open. I called DU right away to find out how to get it. They told me to email my request and they would get on it. Well, 5 minutes later, my "old" room was returned to the inventory and 5522 was shown as taken. We were glad to be next door to my parents and score a SPH room.

The location was great, just up the stairs from the Disney Theatre. The only thing was that it was a long way to the drink station on 9, but I would stay in that part of the ship again in a heartbeat! This time around we are on Deck 7 between the forward and midship elevators.

How did you parents like 5520. Any problems or noises..:confused3

Lina loves going to the Buena Vista Theatre to watch movies, 5522 is in a perfect location for her......:thumbsup2

They really liked it. There is a service hallway directly across the hall from 5520, 22, and 24, but most of the time this is closed off. The only times I really saw it opened were on embarkation day when the luggage was brought in, the night before disembarkation, when the luggage was being hauled away. I have heard people complain about this service area, but I had no problems with it. Sometimes if I recall when the rooms were being serviced that area was opened as well. It seemed to be a very quiet area of the ship. :thumbsup2

They booked a 12 GTY so they won't know where are they are until just before sailing...a few weeks or so.

Only time Di and I were in the Buena Vist Theatre to catch an Excursion...:confused3

Maybe we ought to catch a movie since it will be close :)

We always go in with a sweatshirt on and carrying a blanket, that theatre is always freezing..........:cold:

Last cruise I watched Pirates 2 in the Walt Disney Theatre and attempted to watch Cars in the Buena Vista Theatre. The kids got hungry and wanted to go eat though so we only made it halfway through. This time, I hope there are some good movies to catch, especially with an extra sea day.

OK, so Nicky found out that I posted his sister's picture yesterday and he wants equal time. Look at this little mug:

Too cute! I love it! Which one is the really crazy one - this one?

I work for a software copy called Telcordia. We do software solutions for the telecom industry. We used to be part of the Bell System but now we are on our own. Jeez, I'm boring myself! Here's my filing cabinet:

I did not remember that from when we met. I know I would have remembered. So, do you write software or what exactly?

:scared1: Prices really are higher on the coast...we just paid $95 for a cord of wood on Saturday - delivered to the house and stacked in our rack on the back porch.

$185 is about right for us here in Atl as well.

Thanks for the TIP...Di and I are always cold :goodvibes

Maybe, Di will buy the PopCorn for Us :thumbsup2

Is there Popcorn??:woohoo:

Walt :cool1:

I've never had any, but Lina said they do sell popcorn and candy at the cart just across from the theatre's entrance. We always took our own snacks in with us.

We are picking up a Wii by the end of the week for our kids/us. Elaine always wants to put the tree up on Thanksgiving Day. I tend to frown on that as being too early, but this year we are going to the Macy's parade so I won't have that discussion, at least until the next day! :lmao: :rotfl2:

We watch the Macy's parade every year and make our own Macy's balloons while we watch - it's a tradition here. We have always wanted to go to the parade live and in person, but so far, it hasn't happened. We want to make the Rose Parade one day too!

We just have the regular, plain, unflavored oatmeal, I made sure of that!!! ;)

This is what I always eat - a pack of Splenda, maybe a little cinnamon or a banana, unsweetened apple sauce or something else healthy - yummy!

I'm a Splenda person as well!!! :thumbsup2

We have been trying to go for the last three years. In 2005 & 2006, the weather was absolutely awful. Last year my family all got together in Lancaster, PA for Thanksgiving. It was the first time we were all together in years so we went to PA.

I am hoping for 60 degree weather with sunny skies this year!

I think it's time to take a little power nap, besides, my arm is really starting to feel sore from my flu shot this afternoon.

I'll try and check in later all..........:wave2:

Rob's polishing the shotgun for the ceremony.......;)

Mack has always told our daughter that saving for her wedding is not a concern - it will only cost the going price of a bullet. :lmao:

Here are a few...

Sam going down the slide.

On the member's cruise there was no popcorn when we went. Mack really wanted it. But hey, we got pizza - that was good movie food too! We weren't cold either, but I will remember that for the future trips.

Yes, Nicky is my goofy little boy. He's got to be the world's happiest cat - nothing phases him. Of course, not being burdened with a brain helps too!

I did not remember that from when we met. I know I would have remembered. So, do you write software or what exactly?

My title is sr. performance engineer. I make sure that the software we ship runs as efficiently as possible. I also have to sign off on the software design before the programmers start writing. :faint: It can be fun sometimes, but I'd much rather be drinking a KK on CC! :drinking1

Your kids are so cute!
Thanks!

Elaine is taking Samantha to go get her picture taken tonight. School pictures would set us back $100 for the package that we would need for our relatives. They have got so expensive! We just to go to JC Penney or Walmart now. It only costs us about $50 for both kids, so that is $50 more for the cruise!

Jay isn't quite ready as he needs a haircut before we get his taken.

My fire needs help, I better poke it a bit. I am thinking I need to order another cord of wood!
