Hey guys :wave2:

I'm baaaaack ;)

Got home at 2 AM and then had about 6 hours of sleep. Got up and showered and eagerly went to get Kira :cool1: :woohoo: She was soooo cute! As soon as she saw me she smiled, yelled MOMMY and squealed with delight  :cloud9: Then she saw her daddy and said REALLY loudly DADDY!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

She had a really good week with her auntie and uncle and we REALLY missed her but we had a good time too!

Just getting back to normal now, got some groceries and cooking supper now (ech :crazy2: I hate cooking) and Rob is doing laundry.
:laundy:

Off to peak at Bendy's review :woohoo:

Welcome back Cass even if it's a little late. BTW, Happy belated Anniversary. I hope I see pics while catching up here!

A blast from the past....DH here.

Hope everyone is doning well?

Just popping in to say hello, and we cannot believe it has been a year allready.

Hi Scott. Good to see you around. How are you all doing? How does Mackenzie like school? Julia loves it.:thumbsup2 Please post an updated photo of the family.

The shopping in St. Thomas is excellent. You also get a higher duty-free allowance ($800/person) since it is part of the US. Charlotte Amalie is a short cab ride from either dock.

There is a very beautiful beach on St. Thomas called Magens Bay (one of National Geographic's Top 10 Beaches in the World). The ship is docked in St. Thomas for 8.5 hours so it is possible to do the beach and some shopping. There is a new cruise dock on the other side of town that has smaller versions of the local stores (Cardow Jewelers is one of my favorites), but I'm not sure if Disney ever uses this dock.

St. John is beautiful, but it's a bit if a sail from St. Thomas. Most of the excursions there are 5+ hours. Not sure how much time that would leave for shopping, but it is a beautiful way to spend the day.

I have a friend who lives in St. Thomas and she says that everyone needs to go to Megan's Bay. She goes there almost everyday. It really is beautiful. We have also done the Trunk Bay excursion and we loved it. I want to do that again.

Aww, thanks for the getting to know you kind words! My daughter, Olivia, started cheering at age 4, and those pictures are from her first season cheering in college. She is a competition cheerleader but they cheer the games too. If your daughter enjoys it, cheerleading can be a wonderful sport - dangerous, expensive, and sometimes cliquish, but it can also be wonderful.

I started DD out in the competition cheerleading. Her first competition is in Jan. I can't imagine what they will look like.:rotfl2: But they definitely are cute.:thumbsup2 I wanted her to learn the proper techniques before cheering for a team.

Mack and I knew we could count on you for good ideas. Now we just need to find out the best ways to "see" St. Thomas and St. Maarten.

This would look adorable on a little guy!

Someone needs to remind me of this next year. I will get it done at Disney the day before the cruise. We always get his haircut there. He got his first haircut there 1 1/2 ago.

He's adorable! Guess he likes stickers, eh?

Well we decided to take the day off. We joined our neighbor and went to Toys R Us to start figuring out the kids Christmas gifts. We were surprised to see that Wii's were in stock. We have been going back and forth whether we are going to get the kids a Nintendo DS each, or a Wii to share. :confused3

We then had a nice lunch together at Friendly's and now we are back home relaxing until the kids get home.

Whenever I go home to Massachusetts I go to Friendly's a few times. I love that place. Brings back good memories as a child. I love their ice cream. Di

I hope we can do the Brunch in Parlo. Nancy was talking about it the other day.
Joanne she is getting more existed about this cruise than the members. what an influence you are girl:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
We were checking flights the other day if the prices keep going the way they are we will be driving and staying a few overnights. Example a Delta flight from Portland to Orlando with a layover in Atlanta cost more than a $1000.00 round trip for two. When we flew last month for the Members Cruise it was only 528.00 round trip for two from Logan in Boston. Maybe things will change before Oct.
Joanne you haven't sent Cass the in fo that goes with your picture Ha HA. We just did yours today.
I guess us Sox fans will have to wait for next year. Maybe Roger and I will be watching it next Oct on the Cruise

I watched last years world series on the cruise. Mike was cheering the Cleveland Indians and I was cheering the Sox. We had fun. Mike would comment but he is on his cruise right now. I wore my Red Sox hat the whole trip. How bout those Patriots. 20-0 Di

Wow, Jen, this sounds so easy that I couldn't even screw it up. Thanks for sharing!

There's a reason it's called super easy chicken!

Another good crockpot meal is beef stew....need to look up my recipe for that. And, I have a recipe for beef tips which is also good....I will try to post those later this week.

Also, before I forget - reynolds makes "slow cooker liners" that are basically plastic bags you like the crockpot with and then toss after cooking - makes cleanup a breeze!

We went to Meghan's Bay the first time we went to St. Thomas because of it was one of the top 10 beaches in the world. However, the time we went was right after a weather system came through. Well, the "glass like" water was not so glass like. We had huge wave when we were there, about 6'. Knocked my glasses off and DS out of my arms. Never found my glass, but luckily DS fell to my feet and I could feel him right there. Scariest thing that ever happened to me. I thought he was gone. I'll never under estimate the power of water.

I have pictures some where of the waves that day. I'll try to find one and post it.
