How did I blow that one??? Konk Kritter from Konk Kruisers. I must be thinking Conch Fritters! Thats all I can think of!

My bad...I had to think of someone fast to use as an example! For some reason I thought you were on KK1.

Conch fritters!!! :cloud9: Oh boy, I am hungry!

Yeah me too!!! I only had a Chicken Oriental Salad for dinner and the was three hours ago..............:rolleyes1
Eh, we had frozen pizza, but my sister is on her way to visit for the weekend and she mentioned wanting to get something when she gets here. We will either get chinese take out or a "real" pizza.

I am at work now though. We have our music and creative arts programs on Friday evenings, so I have been hanging out in my office spending time on the DIS to pass the time.

I dropped Hazel off at the church a little bit ago, the Missionettes are having a sleepover tonight. Lina just asked me if I wanted to go to Riverwinds since we didn't make it there this morning. I'll be leaving here shortly. Watching the Phillies/Dodgers game at the moment, Phillies are up 8-5 in the top of the 6th!!! :goodvibes

Chris - did you see that the Yankees canceled the sendoff for the stadium they were going to do in November?

Yes, and I would tend to agree with that. That last night on 9/21 was so special. It was a nice send off for the big ball park. I think if they had some sort of ceremony in November, when it is cold, it just would not have the same effect as a nice win and the overall feel good tone that last game provided for not only the fans in attendance but watching on tv.

I can't wait until my first game in the new stadium next year. I will have 11 games, but due to the cruise I will probably only go to 5 or 6. I will stubhub the balance of tickets to pay for my airfare and give me some spending money on the BOBer cruise.

The Member Cruise actually set sail on 9/21. The game was on ESPN but I couldn't bring myself to watch it. I'm hoping they make it available on a USB drive like they did with the All Star Game.

Yeah I have to run home in a little while to meet my sister there so she can put her dog in the house. She was home alone for the holiday weekend, so she decided to come and visit.

She is a lurker on the thread so I will say, "hey Tracy, I hope we have a fun weekend!"

Yeah, I Tivo'd both the game and the post game. I must confess to getting a little emotional when Bobby Murcer's family came out in his place, and then when Bernie Williams came back for the first time since he left Baseball. Both of those guys were so classy and professional. They seemed like guys you could just sit and have a great chat with.

Maybe the Yankees will be in the World Series next October on the BOBer Cruise and we can watch it either on the Dumbotron or in Diversions.

On our last cruise we watched the NFL opening weekend and were able to watch the Giants and Colts, Manning vs. Manning on the Dumbotron as we sailed out of Key West. That was very nice sitting in a lounge chair watching it on that big screen, eating pizza, chicken tenders, and getting Coke's during the commercials.

Hey Tracy, hope you have a nice weekend visit with your DB and his family!!! ;)

Now we're not leaving until 8pm to head over to Riverwinds, Lina is in the middle of watching something on TV and doesn't want to leave until after it goes off.

Hi all,

It's has been a long two weeks, I still don't feel up to speed but a little more like normal.

I have had nothing but soup and ice cream all week. Great diet lost 4 lbs!!!

Work has been nuts. They are not replacing my boss so I now get to do three jobs. I can hire a part time admin person to help...... Three folks from the corporate office have been here since Wednesday and I was out sick Monday & Tuesday so little to say I have gotten nothing done all week.

But finally time to chat.....I have missed so much.

Welcome to all my dvc cruise buddies 7 days are so much better.

We took this cruise last year and found that St John's has the most beautiful beach and if you are traveling with children it will be your best beat because the french side of st. Martaan has nude beachs. We were traveling with our 22 year old DS and he loved it. :scared: Needless to say the sights were not all pleasent.:scared1:

We took the DCL excursion to St John. It went to Trunk bay to snorkle, it was beautiful but we only spent 90 minutes on the beach. I am not much of a shopper so that doesn't interest me much. We also took a DCL excrusion on St Martaan to snorkle and there was one nude family on the beach. After the boys has one look and a good chuckle it was over and we spent the rest of the time snorkling. DH did the racing regatta and loved that also.

Magens Bay on St. Thomas is a beautiful beach and isn't that far, depending on which side of the harbor the boat docks.
