SOOOOOOOO Excited you two are coming too!!!!! It's going to be a blast. We have to talk Steve and Kamy into it.

Thanks! Everyone has made us feel so welcome. We are very excited! We must get Steve and Kamy. I'll e-mail her now.

Does Kamy work for DVC?

Good morning everyone...

It was nice to sleep in a little bit today. The kids slept a little later too, which is always a good thing.

We are thinking we are going to go to a farm today and pick up some pumpkins, maybe pick some apples and have a good day together. Maybe we will take my sister to the Submarine Museum down on the base. It's free, and i don't think Tracy has been there before.

That doesn't work either.

Got me on this one.........:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Welcome New BOBers, I am Janice traveling w/DH Mark, DS Bryce DD Mackenzie.

Great job on the weight loss Andy.

Way to go! Are you doing Weight Watchers, some other well-known plan, or just moderating yourself and exercising more?

Mainly watching what I am eating and exercising. I do have Slim Fast shakes for breakfast and lunch though and a couple low fat snacks during the day. I try not to eat anything after dinner and if I do, it is usually a low fat yogurt.

This is the most exercing I have done since my high school days, and that was a L-O-N-G time ago!!!

We went and got pumpkins and apples in the GA mountains lat weekend. I think if we had waited till this weekend, we would have seen more color. It was supposed to rain fairly much up there though this week, so we were concerned it might just wash the leaves down. I love going to the mountains in the fall - okay any time really. Each season has its own beauty. Have fun getting your pumpkins and apples! The museum sounds like fun too!

Some Good Morning Pics...

This is Rob's wallpaper on his work computer. You should have seen the double-take the colonel did when he saw it......:lmao: :lmao:

Here's one, Becky. It is from my grandma and it is delicious--and I am not a huge cooked cabbage fan. To make it lower in fat, I guess you could use ground turkey, but I never have tried it that way.

Edia’s Cabbage Casserole

1 small cabbage
1 pound ground beef
½ can ro-tel
4 oz. Tomato sauce
½ cup onions
1 teaspoon garlic
parsley (according to your taste)
bell pepper(according to your taste)
½ cup uncooked rice

Mix raw ingredients well in a bowl. Pour into rice cooker and turn it on. Wait 10 minutes after the rice cooker’s bell rings to serve. This recipe could be doubled if you cook in a large rice cooker.

OK...whats a rice cooker and whats ro-tel? Confused Brit here!

Here are some more pics for today.

Anyone up for some cruise talk?

Which port would be better for a beach day excursion - St. Maarten, or St. Thomas/St. John?

We're doing St John when we dock in St Thomas.....but Megans Beach is wonderful.

tikimimi and tikimack are officially booked! We got a cat. 9 on deck 2 and late seating for dinner. Kathy, how do we link our dinner to yours, Dan and Nan's, Joanne's, etc...?

Woo-hoo!!!!! Happy cruisers here!!!!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :welcome: :welcome: on board.

If you are planning on doing Palo's wait until after that booking window and you have all your ressies in place. If you are linked and try to get on the same time as each other it will kick you out of the system. Those of us Bobers on the EBPC learned that the hard way.:headache:

Didn't we just.:headache:

Hi all,

Hi,

I'm new to this thread as I only made our ressies tonight due to peer pressure from fellow disers
(you know who you are :) )

I'm Annette and will be sailing with my sister Amanda. This will be our 7th DCL vacation. We live in the middle of the mitten.

I can tell you all right now, there is no way I'll be able to catch up with these threads, so I will just jump right in.

That's all for now. Amanda should be a long soon to introduce herself.

Annette :)

Excellent more new sailors. Welcome aboard Annette...don't worry about trying to catch up...just jump right in. I'm Heather and my DH is Rick..we're from the UK.
