yep. browns tonite. not real optimistic though. but i'll watch. (at least i'm loyal) i'll have to leave for work before halftime.:headache:

the tile project turned out amazing.:thumbsup2 i am really happy with it.
we're going to do one of the bathrooms next. robin needs to pick a color.
still havnt got the smoocher i was promised though.:rolleyes1
You are a real fan then! :thumbsup2 When the Yankees stunk in the late 80s and early 90s, I was the only kid in my high school wearing a Yankee Hat and Yankee t shirts! Now everyone wears them!

Our main bathroom has nice tile, but the kitchen floor has linoleum and it definitely needs replacing.

My mom just called me and wanted me to take pictures of my pumpkins so she could see if they measured up to our calling them everything but perfect. I thought I'd share a few more pics with you all tonight...

:lmao: :rotfl2:
well now, you'll just have to ask pp goose what the pp stands for.:rotfl2:

and despite what she may tell you...its not pampered princess.:cutie:

OK, that's it! The kid gloves are coming off. I'm telling everyone what it really means.

:rotfl2:
need a few lessons from bigred??:yay:

Not from that tart! :headache:

cassies been home this weekend.:grouphug: :

we had ds and family over yesterday. first time cassies seen brady.

so cassie took lots of pics for them. family photos etc.
after dinner we're sitting around and cassies playing with addison and she says what sounds like "grandma sit" to cassie!!
she doesnt get to see cassie that much and we wernt sure what she was saying.

we kept asking addison "who is that". her reply "grandma"

well courtney said she doesnt call anyone grandma, robin is momma, and the courtneys mom is nana.:confused3

it took a little while but finally figured out what addison was calling her was
CAMERA. all the pics she took, i guess she just figured that was her name.
so thats cassies new nickname and she loves it.:cutie:

Cute story. :cutie:

I have managed to get a grad hat fom a very kind Dibber - she's posted it today so all I need is a red tassle (or two). Would it be ok if I shipped it to your address and you bring it at xmas? :flower3:

Sure Karen. Does this mean you're also paying for a trip to WDW for me?? Ooops, nevermind....you were talking to Sistah P. :goodvibes
I reckon if its describing Nancy it should be "Positively Perfect"!:goodvibes

No, sadly it doesn't Karen.

try again.

although thats a good name for her too.right pp goose?

I'm so sad I can barely type anymore.

I must admit, I've done a wee bit of shopping in St. Thomas in the past. Great prices on gold but I've found some nice local shops too. When we got back last April, I ended up re-doing my powder room with prints and little gorgeous things that I picked up in St. Thomas. It is very tropical now :beach:

Ooooh I love tropical themed rooms. I have 3 of them.:thumbsup2

Kathy, when the time gets closer you'll have to share tips on St. Thomas & St. Martin with those of us who haven't been there. I was looking at a book last night but it's hard to know what excursion to chose if any.

Nancy

(Other) Nancy, :cutie: click on the logo in my siggie line. Cass has a link with excursions. You'll be able to find something you'll like.

Sure thing. One thing about St. Maarten though - many of the beaches are 'clothing optional'. Unfortunately, the people that choose to exercise that option are not always the ones who should be! :rotfl:

:lmao:

picture F.O.?

You're getting good at these Kathy.

Thank you:hug:

I do actually enjoy it (most of the time):rolleyes1 ...
Our only trouble is there arent enough parents...

Its a big school - 750 children - that means up to 1500 parents in theory. Theres 3 of us that do the dsaily stuff and all the planning and events, (hence the chaotic mess most days:lmao: ) Recruiting new parents is difficult:rolleyes:

I am so sorry to hear that you have that problem over there too. What is the matter with those parents. My husband and I are still involved and we do not have any kids in the school anymore. Both of our kids went to the same high school we went to. DH and I were high school sweethearts. The principal and several of the teachers graduated with us so it really is fun to have that connection. DH is the assistant baseball coach and the field crew for all of the sports fields. I think we have sucker tatooed on our foreheads. :rotfl2: Oh well, we enjoy it.

My DH does the same thing. He's been coaching basketball for our daughter's grade school and she's 24 now! He loves it though. :lovestruc

Are you sure it wasnt the other way around????:rotfl:

We've all seen the photos remember;)

Yup, and I've got them! :rotfl2: Wanna see???

some of the new cruisers may not know so i'll refresh.......

last year for the Konked Kruisers trip, i took it upon myself to take pics of our lovely ladies and put them into calendar format and sold thousands of the
"GIRLS OF THE KONKED KRUISE" calendars.:lovestruc
the money made was used for our deposits on our reunion cruise.:thumbsup2

the next calendar is in the planning stages. response has been overwhelming.
:lovestruc
the battle for the cover photo is intense. at this writing, pp goose(nancy)
has offered to share the cover photo with Bigred
.:cloud9: :cloud9:

That's a travesty, a sham, and a mockery. It's a travishamockery!!!! :snooty:

Ok,... you HAVE to post pictures of you in Palo with pancake hats:lmao:

OK, I'm not allowed to post pictures, so hopefully this link will work: http://gallery.me.com/outbackgirl#100156/DSCN0890&bgcolor=black

There are 3 new BOBers in this picture: JOANNEL (Dixie, far left), tikimimi (Pixie, 2nd from right) and me, njprincess (Trixie, far right). Note the Bellini in front of me, which increases my difficulty factor. Unfortunately, Mary (Mixie, 2nd from left) cannot join us on B.O.B

We witnessed that on Eagle beach even though it is supposed to be clothing at all times.

YIKES!:scared1: You never get to see people like David Beckham exercising their 'clothing optional' rights on the beach! :rotfl:

Lori,
Mimi: Have fun at school today. Let the records show, we REALLY appreciate teachers. What a tough, tough job you have. Thanks for all you do. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

....a big DITTO from me on all three of those statements!

Thank you both! I do love teaching; I just wish sometimes I didn't have to bring home so much work when I am supposed ot be off. I consider myself blessed though to be able to spend so much time in these young people's lives. They are amazing!

Parents like you are hard to find.:worship: We were that way with our kids and their activities and they have turned out to be great people. It is worth all of the sacrafice and gray hair. I can not believe I am going to say this but I miss it. Our DS is getting married in July and we are now thinking grandchildren can not be to far behind.:dance3:

Most definitely worth all the time you are investing! It is tiring sometimes, but it is worth it. I would not change all the time we spent with our kids for anything! We too realize grandkids are not that far away. We bought into DVC because we wanted to be the kind of grandparents who invite the grandkids and their parents for a week or whatever. We want to be involved in the grandkids' lives when they come, but we are sure loving being empty nesters!

Trixie - I'm counting on some shopping expertise sent my way! I will have to buy Christmas gifts while we are there. Mack has already said too, though, that he doesn't want to spend the whole day shopping - he wants to see what we can in each port. If I know us, we'll pack it in on those port days and relax liek crazy on the sea and CC days!

picture F.O.?

Here you go again - collecting what there is to collect. We need a little image for the FO's. You go, Girl!

have to admit seeing everyone at dinner was a great part of that cruise.
:grouphug: :grouphug:

And I loved that not only my waiter was going......"don't mix food? You want separate plates? No ketchup? Steak AGAIN!?":rotfl2:

It is a bunny and a famous one at that - Oolong, the performance bunny http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oolong_the_Rabbit
He was famous for balancing things on his head.

This started on the SSMC08 board. Someone was talking about smilies and Mark posted the hopping bunny with a pancake on it's head. We thought it was so adorable that we adopted him - several of us even had a picture taken in Palo with pancakes on our heads. It's not as easy as it looks, especially after a few Bellini's!!!

OK, I'm not allowed to post pictures, so hopefully this link will work: http://gallery.me.com/outbackgirl#100156/DSCN0890&bgcolor=black

I even attempted and was fairly successful (at least in the picture Mack took) hopping with mine on my head. What I wish you all could have seen was our precious server, Sean - he was totally taking it all in and blown away!

Wow, another skill to add to my resume! :yay:

I'm telling you, if there is something to gain by posting, Kathy will gain it! She is amazing!

travishamockery!!! I love it! :rotfl2: Let's see what tikimimi the English teacher has to say about that! ;)
Love it! I am known at school for coming up with terms. For example, kersnickerfloodles are the frilly, torn edges of spiral paper from my own personal dictionary. I will have to throw travishamockery in there somewhere!

I was there, I was there!! The waiter was very good about it even if he was slightly confused!

I wish I could take credit for travishamockery but it belongs to a beer commerical from one of the superbowl games a few years back. I think you can even google it. :rotfl2:

But I do have a term for blowing the end of a pencil after sharpening it...."Leadectomy". ;)

First of all those are really cute kids:) But I have to know if that is a beagle face looking out the door. We have 2 beagles and a JRT/Pin Pin mix. That beagle face looks like my Shelby.

Love it!!! Kathy, you and I will be great friends!! ;)

I am looking forward to it Nancy!

Regarding amusing words, I have to throw in my favorite snigglet:

Destinesia - Going into another room to look for something, but once you get there, forgetting what it was! :confused3

Oh, a new BOBer from Maine! :thumbsup2

I grew up around the Bangor area.

Matthew (EPCOT_VA)

Nice to "meet" you. We were just up there Sat. - our oldest grandson goes to Husson - the school just went from college to university over the weekend.

We are in Brunswick. We are transplants from the 2008 DVC members cruise that took place in Sept. Ready for a longer experience.

Nancy
