Lina wants to go back to Riverwinds tonight, so I'm off for the night......see y'all tomorrow........:wave2:

Hi Walt,

I passed this info on to Cass so she could make the change on the BOB'er website!!! ;)

Thanks Again!!! ;)

BTW, I am now done with all this cabin switch-a-roo business..........

Thanks Cass...You are a darling...No, I am not making a pass...:lmao: Although, nothing wrong with doing that....:happytv:

Walt :thumbsup2 :) :cool1:

Yeah, why couldn't we get one of those in September or October? :sad2:

I like your comparison of the Europe cruises to buying into DVC. May have to use that one with Suz to finally convince her to buy one. :thumbsup2 ;)
:rotfl:
DON'T BLAME ME!!!!

I am so bummed about the transatlantic repo in Sept. I emailed Sean and asked WHY WHY WHY COULDN'T THEY BE IN 2011!!! That is the year Sarah graduates. Although I did like the Baltic ones better, Sean would have loved to gone to St Petersburg.
Of course with the economy around the world the way it is I can see some major discounting with the prices they posted.

Are you kidding!!!!! I paid 3.43 today!!!!

Back from Riverwinds(again).

Nope, not kidding. The price yesterday was $2.99, it was down to $2.97 this afternoon!!! First time under $3.00 in a long time, at least around here anyway.......:goodvibes

OK, I am signing off for sure this time, have been up since 4am with only a 10 minute nap, thanks to a certain DW who shall remain nameless.........

See all you fine folks tomorrow.......:wave2:

I drove from Maine to WDW by way of I-95 through the DC area. Its been a few years, but remember things well. What would you like to know?

We are thinking of driving from HHI to Baltimore. There is a lacrosse game that Laxlad would just love to see - his favorite team, Johns Hopkins plus Army vs. Navy. How insane is that road? I know heading north and south around HHI it is like being on the autobon - no observed speed limit. I wouldn't want to drive like that the whole way. Is it insane? TIA

You know that you can do it Di....just got to get back that enthusiam again. I want to loose a few in preparation for Christmas.

I usually do good at home just when we are out I dont do that great. Like this weekend we will be on our bike for a four day trip. Lots of eating out in restaurants. Last weekend I went to Dallas and ate too much. I will get back on track. I have too. Di

I hadn't really noticed any really insanity, but then again I live in New England! From North Carolina to Florida the speed limits are 70. I remember setting my cruise just a little below 80 and was getting passed often.

The traffic isn't particularly heavy. I really dislike driving through South Carolina as their are mileage signs often. For example driving south knowing I am stopping in Savannah for the night.

Savannah, 192 miles
Savannah, 189 miles
Savannah, 184 miles

After driving 18 hours straight from Maine, those signs drove me insane despite driving a very fast 80 or so mph!

Hello Everybody

Oh Baltic's price make me faint!!

Too expensive :sad2:

We still thinking about it and make decide before 14 Oct.

Resale is a great idea. I think that's what we'd do if we wanted to buy into VWL, BCV or BWV. I recommended this to my sister, as well.

If you want to rent points I know a few people on another site that are very reliable and fair. Just let me know and I could point you in the right direction.

Mel

After the BOBer Cruise, I may consider buying a small DVC plan. I saw some reasonable ones on some Timeshare resale website. I guess I just need to research it more. :confused3 So as a result, I may save a few years for that. :thumbsup2

Elaine and the kids want to go to WDW for at least a week sometime during 2010. Perhaps I will look to stay at one of the DVC properties to get a taste...

I've been watching VWL points though and the smaller contracts have asking prices that once you add in closing, you are paying Disney's prices. We would just want a small contract. I had already considered what you brought up here; you can buy DVC and go every couple of years for the same money as one cruise. I just can't justify it. Add to the fact the our dream trip is Alaska. I could to that one for less money!!

Have a great day all!

Yes, it is really difficult to justify, isn't it?
